If Yamaha upgrades instrumet cluster and add 6th gear and gear shift indicator, led indicators and fair head light then it will be the winner of the segment
As a proud owner of FZ25, all the things you said are true the only thing missing in this machine is the 6th gear. Other than that it's a perfect machine for both city and touring. I did a tour from Madurai TN, to Goa it's about 1200kms it's a perfect tourer.

Nice bike but the only problem with this 25 is the instrument console. Yamaha should change the instrument console coz it doesn't suits the bike ergonomics. Don't you think so🤔

Not sure about the headlight when compared to 2018 variant. But I think there won’t be much changes and about this one it is good.
I think the paint finish of the alloy wheels should improve..... Look the paint finish of wheels in honda bikes.....

Good video 👍. As mentioned by you regarding mileage to be 35 to 40 km per litre. Actually i am planning to own fz25 and the sales person in Yamaha show room told me that it will give 30 km per litre only. Please do confirm approx mileage of this machine. Thanks in advance.

Can never be fixed, they have picked a defective crude viby engine from offroader xt250 for making fz25.

Don't know if you guys really give the honest review about the defective engine of the fz25, it has hard gear shifting, tapet noise coming from engine continously, 1st gear will not go above 22kmph speed and bike starts shaking with hell lot of vibrations over the tank, seats and handle bar. Engine oil leakage due to excessive heat produced in the absence of liquid cooling and engine rattling noise coming just after break in period.

However Good the Bike is. The Instrument Console is definitely an area that requires improvement.

Upright sitting posture doesn't equal comfort-ability on this bike. I have ridden the 2018 model, the exact back side of the front seat is very uncomfortable as you can feel all the jerks of bad road right onto your lower back because it also has bad rear suspension. No doubt power is excellent in this price. It sure looks comfortable but it isn't.
@@deleater is it only the rear suspension which is an issue for bad roads?
@@sudiptakayal9182 , actually yes it is the suspension rather than the seat. But that was 2018 model and the owner of that bike hasn't set it on the softest. That was my experience but don't judge it because of me. The 2019 one may have improved suspension setup (or different setting). Do take a test ride on normal and bad road before buying. One more thing and I want to emphasize it (if you didn't get it already) is that that was the "only" issue I faced while riding for like 15 or so minutes. My frame of reference regarding the sitting comfort I was talking about is Pulsar 180 which I own and Pulsars are obviously known for comfortable rides. Well you gotta admit one thing Yamaha made a benchmark and has upper hand in bringing advanced technology, they were the first to bring 41mm suspension to normal bikes and they are the first to bring fuel injection with proper service and support to normal bikes. No hate toward Yamaha, that was just my experience.
@@deleater thanks man. yes its very difficult to judge a bike in e test ride only for 15 mins. if you ever get to ride the 2019 version can you update about it here? as you have rode the previous version as well.
@@sudiptakayal9182 , I understand what you are talking about. But it is the different context, it is about comfort and the road we were riding on at that time was full of potholes. It doesn't take 15 minutes to judge the sitting comfort, it only takes a few seconds to feel the degree of jerks as compared to the previous ride, that's it. Even the owner felt the same and said the suspension was at stock settings and wasn't in the softest settings. If you read on forum about owners experience you will find many people complaining the same. But here is the thing, there are people who can go 1000 kms with even a bike like R15, this is why sitting comfort can be subjective but you gotta admit everyone has a common comfort point. This is why I recommended you to take a test ride before calling it anything. It may be comfortable to you or may not.

This bike is awesome i am using it for 1 year ,you will get mileage of 40kmpl if you maintain at60-70kmph.
what mileage is expected when one tours on it.. on tours 80kmph is more or less standard. so can you say about the mileage when on maintains or cruises at 80kmph?
You are forced to drive at 60-70 since after 5000 rpm engine starts rattling
