- This is a build I did around 2007 in my1992 Civic Hatchback VX. Still going strong today.
4 Rockford Fosgate Power HX2 10's in a C-Pillar wall powered by 4 Rockford Fosgate BD1000's, a Power 800.2, a Power 600.5, and all the connecting amp links and voltmeters to match.
From back when men wore men's jeans, and Rockford was usa made! Awesome build man looks sweet!

U need a better power supply. More batteries and a better alternator. Dropping to under 11 volts is not good. Install looks clean nice work . Your amps will thank u if u give them more power and u will get louder

@@ryantexada9269 not at all man trust me I'm an installer my self and I know for the fact that the difference between running of batterys while the car is off vs on is the amount of wattage your able to feed the system before cliping

All of that is killer, man. Very nicely done! ...but none of that is 'old school'. When folks say 'old school' they mean 20 to 30 or more years ago.
Old school is different things depending on how old you are. I'm 32 and to me these are old school (amp / subs), they came out around 2000 or 2001, this is was what was new when I was a teen. But to a 40 or 50 year old dude a punch 45 is old school because that is what they grew up using. This equipment is almost 20 years old.
I'm 41, anytime you say "Punch," I always think of the 90's.

I had 2 hx2 15's stolen out of my mustang with box and amp back in 2002. I never bothered with audio again. Factory for me. Now I'm contemplating doing it again. Thinking about searching for 3x 10 hx2's on ebay or something to have some nostalgia and booms. There are so many good subs out there. I can't see myself buying the newer rockfords although they are probably fine. I like the old made in america stuff.

Hx2 power series? Fuggeda bout it, what were they 1000 rms? 2000 peak? I still have a punch hx2 in my daily driver, I bought the box and that speaker 2gether, circa 2002. Still dumping,2022. That Era of fosgate stuff is unmatched. Those amps were the best IMO. Still are,just can't find them for any less than my life savings!!! Lol

Very nice build. It's nice to actually see somebody give a crap about how things look not just the way they sound. These days most of the builds people don't even bother paining their birch plywood or MDF it's horrible.

i was looking for old school,nice build man hold on to it,i was looking for back in the late 80's when they put eight 15's in the back of these but i dont see anything like it,haha probably because the only thing we had back then were camera's that you had to take the film to walgreens to get developed haha damn those were some good times and fucking fun times,everyone was pretty cool with everybody now its all hate.fucking ass holes haha.oh and we had casette players alpine.and punch 45 was the shit.i had four 12's in 1988 in a camaro they were called M&M's yep.well cool car man keep it.later
Very nice. They only thing I would change is the dash plate for the head unit. Pull it back off and wrap it in vinyl so it flows with the rest of the dash. Everything else is covered and the dash piece kinda doesn’t go with the theme. Good job though

Awesome setup my friend. 👌 I love all the old school gear. Those were great amps but my personal favorite were the 2nd gen Punch amps. Those things were bulletproof. I had a Punch 150 from that era that I ran 2 ohms mono for years on a set of gold letter Kicker C12's. It ran hot and shut off maybe a couple times but it never failed me.
