Tempestuous young Ivy (Drew Barrymore) befriends introverted teen Sylvie (Sara Gilbert) and seduces her way into the lives of Sylvie's wealthy family in Poison Ivy. In the piquant follow-up, Poison Ivy 2: Lily, a sheltered art student (Alyssa Milano) finds Ivy's diaries and, after reading them, is lured into uninhibited risk-taking to become a wild woman! Then Ivy's sister (Jaime Pressly) visits the Greer residence in Poison Ivy: The New Seduction, and it doesn't take long for her to use her skills of manipulation to throw the household into a slate of panic and deceit. A college freshman (Miriam McDonald) is invited to join an exclusive campus sisterhood, where cold blooded ambition causes the group to seduce, blackmail or do away with anyone that gets in their way in Poison Ivy: The Secret Society.

Hugely underrated movie of the 90's. Great performance by Drew Barrymore and beautiful script. Soundtrack is timeless as well.

They honestly don't make movies like this anymore. It's not one of my favorite movies of all time, but it was a good suspenseful horror movie.

Poison Ivy one of Drew's best movies and this made Drew Berrymore into a huge star and she was in ET, and she did a lot of acting but then she disappeared and then she started at the bottom and worked her way to the top and now she is successful and she has her own Hollywood Walk Of Fame and a Golden Globe. I hope she wins an Oscar. I haven't seen Drew in much lately! She is a mother of two daughters. I also liked Drew Berrymore in The Wedding Singer, Blended, Never Been Kissed, Ever After A Cinderella Story, Firestarter, I hope she makes a huge comeback.

@AngelSimone, she has a new TV show called the Santa Clarita Diet that has been out for some time now. I’ve been watching it on Netflix. She’s super funny in it and does s great job. I like her in it it a lot. I think she’s been working on some other acting projects as well but that’s her most recent work I’m familiar with. You should check it out sometime. It’s on Netflix and is really good. I think you would enjoy it.

Drew was a great child actor BUT fell into a lot of the Child actor rabbit holes ... her mom used to take her to bars to celebrate a successful movie ( you could do that back in the old Hollywood days up to the 90s ) she’s sneak drinks fr. People’s beers & some people would just offer her stuff too
Was in and out of rehab though out most of her teen years until it finally kicked in and she was sober

Drew is in many of my favorite movies. My favorite is Duplex! That movie is hilarious. I love this one, E.T., Cat's eye, 50 first dates! They all are 10s! I'm sure I love others too but can't think atm of others.

The only reason why people are less concerned about it is because in the 90s it affected affluent White men whereas now the people most strongly affected by it are poor, non-White and female. Now White people are scared that their children might get autism from vaccines so they let their children be exposed to diseases that kill far more people than AIDS ever did....which kinda proves exactly how stupid some people are!
