Take your time, clean everything very carefully, dont leave motor un covered if it takes a couple days. Find a highly recommend tuner and pay the higher price since you bought top end parts.
Shout out from Corpus Christi Texas. I wrecked my a 2006 chevy 6.0 supercharged blackout stepside on 22 ❄️. Wrecked it a month ago. Best believe ima get me another dropped Chevy single cab. Im White but were i live all the pisas from Tamilipas show me love. No matter if i had unlimited $$$. 2006 chevy single cab,stepside, with the sunroof sitting on 22s with a TSP cam over any other truck.
Main thing most people don’t do is the oil galley plug, oil pump girdle and rear main seal. Do those for sure! I’d replace the oil pump with a melling pump while you’re there. Take your time and bag/label the bolts you’re gonna reuse and you’ll be fine. As far as a stall I’d just go yank or circle d 3600-3800. Multi disc if the pocketbook allows but it’s not entirely necessary.
Also, IWIS billet timing chain while you’re at it. Cheap insurance.
I’d recommend replacing oil pump gears especially at that mileage.

bro honestly I remember meeting yall in ati last year. I loved seeing the truck in person. man the single cab looks clean. id say get tires, and roll the fenders in the rear that way it tucks the 24s without it killing tires.

Get a oil pump while your there won’t have to worry about your oil pressure dropping in the future as for a stall I’d go with a 3200 stall should be plenty for that cam I personally like Circle D exhaust long tubes xpipe & I like how borla sounds with these crammed trucks maybe like a xr1 or a proxs
I like the carvan exhaust. Hooker tube shorty's, muffler coming out the bed. 6.0 with nothing under a 2500, intake, tune and u got a 600+HP truck without the supercharger
While it’s apart replace oil pump, timing chain, etc! And 3200-3800 stall is noice. CircleD converters are the best, and go’head and do remain seal also while the trans is out.
Then headers, no cats, xpipe(ALWAYS do an xpipe when yall do exhaust), and I’m a BIG fan of 3” in 3” out Stainless Works S-Tube mufflers on our trucks.

Thats the same cam i got in my 5.3, good sounding and performing cam, Love the stuff yall do and i like to see yall getting into motor work not many guys do that. for the stall i recommend a tbss converter 2800, thats what im running in mine. Yall got my support from south mississippi hope to see yall in person one day!!
that tbss 2800 stall coverter is great for daily reliability and be sure to check them cam bearings

Ls motors are the easiest engines to work on. Take your time. Organize all ya nuts and bolts. Go with at least a 2800 converter. And find a good tuner.
