Akuma doesn't work with SF6s mechanics, hate to say it, like Mago said it's going to very impressive to see an akuma player consistently perform well in tournament. Right now I think Marisa steamrolls him with just two touches
he’s always been steamrolled. He’s a glass cannon. He’s also going to be top tier. His low health has never held him back. what do you mean he doesn’t work with the mechanics? he works just fine lol. better than fine. Just because Ryu has an identity now doesn’t mean akuma isn’t effective
I think it would be cool if at certain points in the game, Ryu could use Gouken’s moves for a short period. He could have focus for increased time and use air hadokens as well. He would use “The power of nothingness.”
Story wise, I think it would make sense. Ryu is already approaching that Gouken master level mindset but my question is what are they going to do with Akuma later? They are just gonna make Ken his successor? Keep the Satsui No Hado philosophy conflict alive with Ryu vs Ken? I think it would be interesting but also just really dumb considering Ken and Ryu's growth throughout the series.
@@jameswasdin654 That’s true. Maybe Ken finally reaches his breaking point after losing everything and embraces the SNH. Perhaps Ryu defeats Akuma once and for all and the next journey is Ryu trying to help Ken who, blood drunk with power, only sees Ryu as a nuisance at this point.
@omni201 It certainly would be both interesting and tragic, but like I said it also could be dumb. They have to pull it off really clean for it to be actually good.
Akuma can dash twice after hitting light tatsu > sweep. This put Naruo close to the corner and having to guess the mix. A very disadvantageous position to be in. For Daigo, this probably was the best option, because any fancy combo in that situation would put Akuma in burnout state. Now you understand why you are in Iron Ranking?
I love the way Naruo plays Ryu, very fun to watch :)
Also - 9:15 was crazy, what a combo!
Naruo is awesome. He was a very strong Ryu in SF4 as well.
Man i didn't think Akuma's game plan would be whiff punishing, zoning hybrid. While Ryu has better pressure on block.

@@Realitycheck98765 do you think ryu is easier to play and pick up than akuma? I'm new to street fighter and I'm thinking of playing ryu
@@RageZoradon’t worry about which character comes easier. Just pick a character you like the most and begin the journey
Bravo Naruo, vous êtes incroyables !

It’s not street fighter six unless you have a vagrant/hobo skin .
Question for anybody: How many hadokens does it take to make you sleep?
To many.😂
About 100, I say.
I wanna see one thousand death !
shotoken extreme ga y baller battle..
Akuma is just a mid tier. But Daigo play him so well !!!!!
Yeah that's why he's swarming the legendary rank, mid tier smh
@@tarantinoisahack given his low health he cannot be top tier.
@@Valpremieryou know he has low health because if he didn’t he would be the most undisputed most powerful character in the game
@@jaedenadams6599 low health is what make him mid tier.
@@Valpremierreally? ever played sf4? or the first few seasons of sf5? or sfa3?
might be the most boring game I've ever seen
agreed. Daigo plays akuma like guile.
"Oh no a player known for his love of zoning is using the best fireball in the game to zone his opponent, why didn't they turn green all the time"
Average gorilla comment
It’s boring to you because newer street fighter is made for impatient people favoring rushdown this is how street fighter used to be I miss it
This is classic Street Fighter playstyle, if you don't like it then you would not have been good at the older games.
0:30 Most unoptimal Akuma combo. I see it in all these replays. Are these guys "legends" by the sheer amount of games they play?
I think its for the hard knockdown and advantage? Im not sure.
Thinking that fancy combos are what make a legend is why you're still in bronze
