That black jersey with the white "C" is striking! I have waited for Calgary to do that for quite a while. It looks even better than I imagined, especially when Shannon holds it up to the camera. If you took away that pedestal in the front, Calgary would have one of the best alternate jerseys in the NHL. Man, that is a nice one!
The 2011 Heritage jersey really is a rare find these days. I thought I finally got lucky buying one off of eBay but it turned out to be a fake despite the photo the seller had used looking identical to the real ones. Was pretty miffed about getting ripped off so hopefully a legit one will pop up again soon in my size
I love Calgary branding, even as an Oilers fan. My favorite Flames jersey is actually the latest reverse retro. I also like their wordmark one too. I'm not a big fan of the main design before their return to the classic look though. I do really like the Calgary Wrangler unifomrs, and I love the shoulder logos on those things, I would love to see it used as a primary.
I’ve been waiting for this one. My current flames collection is at 5, with all 4 adidas ones they wore last season and an ‘04 home for nostalgia purposes. Really hoping to get the remaining adidas ones before fanatics takes over, I love the fit of those ones. Had the 2011 heritage classic one as a kid but an adult small is also on my list
I like basically all of them. My very favorite though, the rr 2.0 pedestal jersey
I hope the Flames keep their current uni's for a long time. They just look perfect for that franchise. Would be cool too see them have a black version for the current look.

Happy the Flames went back to their original look again I think they have one of the best home and away set in the NHL but their away jersey I think it's one of the best away jerseys in the NHL
I would love if the Flames went to the 2nd reverse retro as their home with a white blasty as the away, the fashion jerseys out there of that look fantastic.
I didn't really like the Wranglers logo until I saw the similarity with the Atlanta logo. Now I like it. Flames and Oilers went back to their classic looks, so all is right in the Alberta hockey world.
its kind of hard to admit as an Edmontonian but I love the red jersey with the black C, my brother is a flames fan and its the jersey he had when we were growing up
I always thought that the Flames should wear those Heritage Classic Ronald McDonald jerseys against the Kings in their Burger King jerseys.

Both the Red & White jerseys @ the 1:00 minute mark should be there jerseys in perpetuity - pretty much forever. The Blasty either in Black or White should be the 3rd they bring out a dozen times a yr.
All others Flames jerseys (the black C & tri coloured - angled waist bars incl. should be tossed out, & forgotten). Flames jersey & logo is a bit like the Habs, Leafs, Oilers, Flyers, Bruins, Devils, Isles, Hawks, Blues, & Avalanche - jerseys which haven't changed much & for good reason.
The reason why many Flames fans hate most of the jerseys is because you can't beat the original! It's the nicest jersey in the NHL, for sure!

I'm from Iowa and you should come! Heartlanders games are getting better and better, the jerseys are pretty solid, especially the prarie rose alternate. Haven't been to many iowa wild games, but the roster is shaping up nice. Hope it's not the iowa culture scaring you off, des moines and iowa city are the best parts, so come visit! Iowa needs as much hockey support as possible, would love to see it grow in the area and you can help! No pressure though ;)
The newer Blasty is my favorite one. I have to get some new ones because Tkachuck and Bennet left.
While the addition of black in Flames jerseys was always a bit too much (and I still prefer the classic look), I think the white “C” with the black trim is the best look the crest has ever had.
Speaking as a Flames fan, I think the Flames are like their expansion siblings, the Islanders, in that every time they've gone away from their traditional, original look it's been a disaster. The "podium" jersey is an atrocity. The worst hockey jersey ever. The word mark one was kind of OK, but looked too much like the Devils. When they added black I thought it was stupid. "Yeah, now they're black, red and yellow, just like the Canucks" was my thought. Some idea stealing the colors of the team that's supposed to be your rival. I also remember first seeing their "C" logo when they moved from Atlanta and thinking that it must have been designed by a kindergarten kid, it was so bland and obvious. But it's grown on me. One of the 4 jerseys in my huge hockey collection is a 1989 #7 Joey Mullen road (dark).
As a flames fan the wordmark had always been weird to me but the shoulder patch was always great.
I've been wanting them to use the shoulder patch of that jersey as the main logo on an alternate forever. It is such a great logo that they really need to use again.

Your friendly reminder that the "A" logo from the Atlanta Flames jersey is still used for the Alternate Captain "A" on the Calgary jerseys. A really cool call-back to the team from Atlanta.

The Reebok edge 7187A in white is their finest! The flags on the shoulders are mint and the logo gleams.
I have an Adidas that fits the same description. But it has Gaudreau on the back, hahaha
Blasty was the default away jersey at one point before the red one came out. I wouldn't mind if they go back to those. The current ones are okay but they're missing Blasty and the alternate captain's A doesn't have the Atlanta Flames logo

I had a friend that had a booger collection. Yours is more fun.
The Flames I always felt brought a nice uniform over from Atlanta with a red and orange/yellow and white. Good Uni.
I had season tickets from the mid 90's until 2008 and saw a lot of very bad jersey's. Any addition of the black seemed to make it worse. Taking out the orange always seemed like a mistake to me. Very happy to see them go back where they came from because it is a more attractive jersey.
Not a fan of the flaming horse. The black stripe doesn't help.
Part of it might be the era. The Horse reminds me too much of the Dallas Bull/Star fallopian tubes Jersey.
They did go through a marketing era : All out every shift and young guns which seemed to be a marketing excuse for icing a bad team. I associate the horse head with those attempts to distract the fans from what the team was doing, which wasn't much.

I hate the Atlanta Calgary colours, looks like a box of McDonald's fries in red and a McDonald's coke in white. But I also hate Calgary, broke my heart to see Marky and Tanev wind up there.
I didn't like the fabric choice for 5:30 I bought one during high school and you pretty much had to wear something that covered your stomach and arms or you went crazy with how itchy you were.
The Stanley Cup classic threads are it. NO BLACK.
