They usually leave the bells on for the first 30 days. Because it's a familiar thing to the newly rescued ellie! After 30 days they will make a celebration video by removing the bell! They do this with ALL their rescues!

Please, please make more videos of her in the first hours and days in her new home...it makes us feel closer to her and lets us see how she is adapting to her new life. I love how she took a bit of soil in her trunk and threw it on herself even before leaving the ambulance...already she wants to fit in and to better know her surroundings. I am literally crying tears of joy that she is rescued and tears of pain for her seeing the extremely horrible condition her feet are in and witnessing how painful it is for her to walk. I really hope her feet, legs and overall constitution heals. I really wish India would prosecute, jail and bar abusers from owning, living with and working with animals ever again. It really takes a person without a conscience and lack of empathy to do this to another being. It is really horrible.

There are several elephants in the US being used and abused for human entertainment, living very isolated lives in substandard environments. Yet all efforts to rescue them and get them retired to the beautiful elephant sanctuaries in Georgia and Tennessee fail because authorities refuse to take action and help them. It's disgraceful! As a human being and as an American I am so fortunate not to have the pain and stiffness and swelling and disregard and lack of love that this poor animal has had. Her swollen joints the way she needs to walk to support herself brings me to tears. I will try to help in what ways that I can.
I'm crying happy tears for Pari and she can see they didn't blind her! Her poor feet, maybe once they start to heal her posture will change. Her back legs are so thin. Wait till she gets a taste of watermelon and that brown paste (what is that stuff?). Pari means angel 👼 a fairy 🧚🏻♀️ she is one for sure. Such a beautiful being. We humans suck and are deplorable for how we treat the other living beings on this planet.
20 years old? poor Pari you look worn out you poor thing , your feet look so painful ,BUT from now you will be loved and cared for and know that not all humans are wicked and bad...God has blessed you and all those at Wildlife SOS, have along and happy life.
As a human being and as an American I am so fortunate not to have the pain and stiffness and swelling and disregard and lack of love that this poor animal has had. Her swollen joints the way she needs to walk to support herself brings me to tears. I will try to help in what ways that I can.
I'm crying happy tears for Pari and she can see they didn't blind her! Her poor feet, maybe once they start to heal her posture will change. Her back legs are so thin. Wait till she gets a taste of watermelon and that brown paste (what is that stuff?). I love how she stopped to listen to the other elephants trumpet and they know a new elephant has arrived because they heard the hospital truck drive in. Welcome to you're new life Pari.....

Absolutely heartwarming and so sad at the same time, seeing what her owners did to her, but then seeing her step into her new home. I can’t believe how bad her condition is, she must have been worked so hard and neglected to be crippled like she is! 😢💔. Now there is only healing love ❤️🩹🐘❤️🩹. Thank you WSOS 🙏💞xo
So happy she’s finally with you! After treatment she’ll enjoy what she was supposed to have enjoyed her whole life: freedom & the love of her mother & herd.
