- Hey guys!
In this video, I'm briefly discussing my experiences so far with the GHK AUG A2 Gas Blow Back Rifle. As you'll see in the video, the AUG is a really special gun for me and I just couldn't wait to kit up in Auscam and take her out to a skirm! Keep in mind this is only a "first impressions" video and not a full review. Which I will make one day in the future :)

A lot of people hate on airsoft like it's only for little kids, but they'd be surprised to know a LOT of military veterans play and love airsoft, every time I've been at an airsoft field there's always a person there with military history, always cool to meet them.
Like I told you before, initially I didn’t really like bull-pup rifles but when I shot this one it felt great! It’s super comfortable. Great video again bro!

The Aug is the coolest gun GHK has ever made, it's more durable and reliable than GHK's Ak and m4 mounts. The Ak platform has too many writhing forward issues and shoddy internals. The current m4 platform is having a lot of problems with poor receiver quality, cost cutting casting process due to increased metal cost causing air bubbles in metal structure, I've seen people with receiver crack m4 in places where I thought it would never crack. I will assure you that you can use AUG Polymer body for life but that will not be possible with any airsoft m4 platform

How are you so comfortable dropping your mags? The feedlips on both of the mags I initially got with mine broke after some short falls so I could never drop them like that on purpose. I will say there are some common issues that may come up, and catgutt at explosive enterprises has a video that's certainly a great help. Great video as always!
If they break then I’ll just fix them and eventually replace them if I have to but what I don’t want is to have to care about the mags in the middle of a shoot out. Thanks for the comment matey! 😊
this magazine is dropped on soft ground not cement so i guess it's fine
Talking of struggling with the face pro, in the UK a company called deltamike face pro makes snoods with mesh inserts for teeth. its a game changer, and a must for slick and more realistic kits. Maybe something like that is worth a try?

I really wish GHK just make all their aug's in the original Austrian OD green. I also wonder if Realsteel upper reciever will fit this, I tend to outfit my systems mostly with rs parts anyways.

Assuming you played on a Dutch field, how did you get it within limits? My ghk shoots a bit too hot out of the box for Dutch-limits, did you list it as a dmr to allow for the extra joules?

This a1 aug is a beauty, but sadly the scope wont cooperate with mask on.
Yeah it’s pretty much just decorative at this point but on the bright side my red dot is sitting at a perfect height

What green gas are you using?
Depends on the replica and temperature but I like to use the nuprol series gas
What kicks more ? This one or the VFC HK 416a5 ?
They’re about the same I guess but because of where the bolt carrier is on the AUG, it does feel and sound a bit more violent

I don’t like the AUG, (or bullpups in général) it’s ugly and bulky to my mind, but it’s totally subjective ; but as a GHK replica, it’s seems to be a good replica,

It’s the same replica except you can’t easily take the barrel out to adjust the hop up because the front rail / handguard section is screwed on.

You should try the we p90. You can hpa tap the gun itself rather than the mags and is very accurate for a compact gun
