Hi John and Bev- I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work making these videos to share with the world. You have inspired my husband and I. We are not ready to retire yet but because of you two, we are in the process of planning our Go Go Years now. If it wasn’t for your videos, we probably would not have planned and be able to make it happen. We also upped our travel now as well❤ I hope you two know you are changing the quality of life for so many.

Great video. Thank you for sharing. Namibia, Laos, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Tawain and the Baltic States are all on my bucket list. Slovenia is one of my favorite European countries. Happy Travels.
A wonderful list that stirs up the “Wanderer” in all of us! Thank you for including Namibia, my mother’s country of birth🤗 We will be there in July visiting our family for a family reunion in the southern part of Namibia in a town called Mariental. We reside in Johannesburg in South-Africa and will be driving to Namibia over two days. Equally friendly and hospitable to the people of Taiwan, the people of Namibia are so amazing! Too many things in my mind to share about Namibia…. Luderitz, Kolmanskop, the wild horses, stunning wildlife all over, Fish River Canyon, Sesriem, Sossusvlei, Naukluft, Swakopmund (Dune 7 - highest dune in Namibia at almost 400m high), Etosha pans, and and and…. Intrigued by Faroe Islands and Poland, seems like a must visit!

I just finished the book “Melania” and it made me want to see Slovenia - her memories of her life there (vacations, architecture school, mountains, etc.) sound like it’s quite a diverse yet inviting European landscape. Great video! Thank you!

Fabulous video as always. Hmmm…my two cents - Azores, Panama (head out of larger towns/cities), either coast of Canada - Newfoundland or BC.😮😮😮. Heading to Merida very soon to get my fix of Mayan cuisine and colonial architecture. Good for the soul. Question... in these places are you more likely to find value in airbnb's or hotels or hostels or how do you tend to find success with where to stay research? What are your tips and strategies for deciding on accommodation in the places you go? Might be a great video topic, unless I have missed it and you have that topic covered already! Thanks so much. We don't use Airbnb at all anymore. Too many issues. Our first choice is always a free stay at Hyatt with points, and we then use booking. com to select hotels (we also check directly with hotels after finding on booking to get a better deal) Happy journeys, John and Bev
I always wonder how people find the places they visit. Did someone say, “let me tell you about a play you need to visit” or you just had the good fortune to stumble upon beautiful places. Thank you for helping us all add these great finds to our bucket lists.
We sometimes find them from recommendations and sometimes it's a dart on a map and like you said, we stumble upon it. This year we're heading to China, but a couple of stops are just rail stops and we can't wait to visit because we've heard so little about them. Stay tuned! Thanks for the comment! John & Bev
As always, thank you for the information you share on wonderful places to visit. I might skip Italy in 2025 due to the Jubilee 2025. There will be hordes of people traveling there this year, so perhaps push it until after Epiphany in 2026.

Went to Poland in April 2024 and loved it. Hoping to do a trip to Singapore & Vietnam in March and Greece and Croatia in Sept 2025.

I actually have one question. How you overcome the language barriers in different countries?
Google translate when we get into a pinch, otherwise english is spoken in so many places, especially in the touristy areas.
