- The fastest, most powerful and expensive e-car in the world. This supercar does not adhere to convention. The futuristically designed Rimac Concept One presents itself extremely flat and extremely powerful. Although the car is relatively heavy, the acceleration capability is abstruse. The four engines produce 1.600 newton meters of torque, which accelerates the car in 14 seconds to 300 kilometers an hour.

I thought that's the guys name, its written 'Rimac', 'C' here in Croatia is pronounced like the 'ts' in 'cats' so it should sound like 'Rimats'. I'm English, living here a while. Don't be disrespectful people, this is a fantastic car!

People who lead the country don't make it a communist. In that case, USA is a dictatorship since a president is in charge. Croatia is (at least in paper) a democracy now with capitalist economy.

Ade mato make something even quicker, like 2 seconds to 100KM, lose the weight and make a still production car but a race version, so a lot of weight is taken out, which is still be able to be driven on the roads of the world. :) Basically all carbon fiber other than areas which requires titanium etc. and the brakes etc. :)

Electric cars may have more potential than a combustion engine but they can never beat the sound which is a selling point for today's performance vehicles
I think that electric cars may end up with speaker systems in them that mimics the sound of a fossil fuel car.
Maybe the sound cellos moving through scales or something, turn the sound on and off at user discretion.
Have you ever been in an electric super-car? Or been near one? The sound is quite mesmerising. It kind of sounds like a jet engine on drugs without all the "dirty" noises. It is, in all honesty, just awesome.

Nice car, but it is very compromised with a lack of down force as Richard Hammond found out to his cost. If I was going to spend a million bucks on a hypercar I would expect at least an adequate aero package.

Driving range is something over 300km. If you push it really hard than the range is about 100km. Jeremy Clarkson says that they have to recharge it after every cca 200km of serious pushing by Richard while they filming The Grand Tour.
