- It has finally happened...
The troika is being retired from production!
The last 15 have been built (as of August 2023), and will be making their way out into the works.
It still completely staggers me how far Instruō has come since I was designing solo, and building individual modules in the spare bedroom.
To everyone who has shown support through the years, purchased modules, made modular music, and been part of this weird, niche-of-a-niche industry:

Instruō today has grown into a full on creative collective! I get to work every day with the most incredible team of developers/artists/makers.
We've come a long way, and in so many ways it feels like we're just getting started.
The troika was the OG! It was the first to gain "Instruō" as a branding.

I came up with this dumb phrase when requested for a description of my company:
"I make sounds with the things that I make to make sounds with."
This is now very much updated to:
"We make sounds with the things that we make to make sounds with."
Just ordered myself a Troika. It's such an amazing module when you cross-patch it. I've been playing with it in VCV a lot of times and it's been on my 'later' wishlist for a while. Now it's a great time to get a real one.

I was just reorganising my case and was considering popping the Troika (#014 Black & Gold 🙂) in, sweet module! Thanks for the brief history!
When you engrave on Stock material It's almost impossible to get a uniform engraving cause .002 depth of variation can make a visual difference
and for the machine plunging into the piece
That unfortunately happens cause of program reading glitch or the thickness from one piece to another varies a lot
Especially if material is from different material Bars
( ex Stock 1/4 thick material )
Can vary from .230 to .280
