This becomes _hysterical_ with Hidden Body and a Giant's Seed. Just cast Hidden Body, slowly inch closer to the "clever" invader while spamming naughty emotes, cast a second time for good measure (Hidden Body does not last long) then pop the Seed right in the invader's face, follow it up with a point-blank Lloyds Talisman and then taunt him with Applause as the Lothric Greatsword Knight or what-have-you turns and wails on the Red and completely ignores you just inches away from you. Then rush down the Red with your favorite weapon while remembering to keep casting Hidden Body. Point-Down his corpse repeatedly in-between rolling the nearby enemy's attacks, _don't_ attack the enemy that helped kill him and _don't_ get hit, this is very important for rubbing in as much salt as you can, you want to make it clear that these mobs are not an obstacle for you in any way and neither was he. In fact if you can manage a post-invader-death, Parry-the-enemy into slow-walk-away Quiet Resolve (without a riposte) then you've pretty much perfected this scenario.
_Mighty Switch Force music is the shit._ The obvious stated, I really wish hosts would start getting creative while being invaded. You know, instead of say, rounding up a posse and throwing you into a Dark Sword blender. That's getting kinda old.
you should be expecting anything when you invade. you're forcing yourself into their world and they'll do whatever's necessary to remove you from it. but maybe you should just git gud m8
This really just shows off all the fun platforming you can do in this game. You should have a "follow the leader" style of invasion where it's just the host and 3 invaders all following one invader, doing jumps and such until the everyone is dead, HORSE style.
It does, it most certainly does. In Anor Londo, if you have it equipped in the water reservoir area were the fat archdeacon Is. you can hide in the back corner. you can see invaders, but they cannot see you unless they get close. I have tested it with and without the ring, and I have avoided lot's of invasions this way while farming for PoCK's or human dregs. Trust me it works unless over 75% of online invaders are blind. Link if you are still not certain darksouls3.wiki.fextralife.com/Obscuring+Ring
FINALLY someone who doesn't shove boring dubstep to our faces. If my ears could talk, they would thank you for that ! Also, nice vid and congratz for the 10k subs ! =)
There is another one at the bonfire before the swamp. Enter the swamp, turn right and stick to the wall. In a corner there is a bugged wall you can cross and you'll be inside it invisible. Love the vid btw
Grats on 10k, Jelly! It's been a pleasure watching you from around ~1k subs onwards! I hope you, as a person, and your channel, grow! Looking forward to 100k subs!
Im very glad my hiding spot made it in (found 18), the one in profaned capitol (7) was straight up crazy...im thinking you could snipe people off the bridge from there O_O
Holy crap, me and Lakanus were testing some stuff and found out when you go into spot 13 you turn completely invisible!! *Edit: only close to the bridge they appear invisible it seems imgur.com/a/MCXIi
+JellyElite~ Advanced hiding spots in my book are killing the invader because death is the best hiding spot! In all seriousness though, some people are REALLY blind, even curling up in plain sight and they ran past me... I think that the curl up gesture is too freaking stronk.
Theres an amazing spot in the kiln of the first flame where halfway up the path you can let yourself fall and if you're lucky an edge way down out of sight, I discovered this whilst fighting an invader and I fell. Super hard to do but amazing spot.
It was surprisingly fun making this. If you guys want it, I'll probably make another. Looking for hiding spots wasn't actually too hard, I managed to find quite a few. The ones I didn't find myself though are 1, 6, and 18, but I felt I should include them because they were very good spots. Anyway, enjoy!
So I think I've found a decent spot in the giant chamber where Archdeacon McDonnell is located. If you're facing the Archdeacon, you can squeeze in between him and the wall to your left. It can't be seen from the room's entrance and since the chamber is so empty no one expects you to be hiding in there. Even better if you have the obscuring ring. So far no invader's found me there. Seed the world and let the Aldritch faithful farm mobs for you for ezpz souls.
That underwater one would work better in the swamp or in the waters in the cathedral. Also I recken that some armors work better than other depending on the environment. For example Havel's could do well in a rocky area, where as those with tattered cloth would work well in foliage and such.
So, if you kill the left dragon at lothric castle with arrows but don't kill the subsequent black tar dragon/monster thing that spawns at the tail of the right dragon, the dead dragons actually have no hit box, and you can stand directly inside of them. It's a situational hiding spot, but is great fun for trolling invaders.
There's a good spot exactly on top of that dead ladder smith guy at the Profaned capital bonfire. Just use the same gesture on top of his body that you get from him.
There's a really easy one that's really effective for trolling, just after Pontiff Sulyvahn's bonfire. From where everyone's summon signs are, go left until you reach the stairs that take you to the giant area, then drop down from them to the left. There's a perfect hidey-hole there.
1. High Wall Lothric 2. Go to the 'Tower on the Wall' bonfire. 3. Run past the roof congregation and jump to the adjacent roof from the ladder platform. 4. While on the roof, go on the right side of the iron fence closest to the 4 hollows. 5. Once in corner, roll off roof slightly to the left of the hollow guard rail. 6. Perform a plunging attack while holding right on the directional stick. 7. "Voila", you bypassed an invisible wall and now on a small section of roofing.
You missed one of the easiest hiding spots in the Farron poison swamp. Right outside the first bonfire's door, hang a right and follow the wall to a recessed area - at the end of this recessed area, before the wall juts back out into the swamp, you can walk through the wall (it's a glitch, though, so it may eventually get patched out).
Can't get number 4 to work. Is it the camera angle you need to have just right? Or did they patch it and make the boards shorter. Lol or maybe I just suck. Lol
number 15 also works on some trees in the area after the pontiff boss fight heads up though the archers need to be dead to hide there :P also landing on that exact part is kinda hard to do
some of these spots could be used for a snipers nest for gankers so they could have a tank down in the fight and a archer or sorcerer raining down attacks,
Hey man can you tell me what you used for your fashion souls in this vid it looks really good? I know that's the nameless king chest piece and the sellsword headpiece but I can't tell what the gloves are.(I think the leggings are the Alva version?
Why go through the effort when curling up in a corner is enough to trick nearly every invader. Cool video though, these are spots I would never think of hiding in.
I have a hiding spot I found. if you go to where you meet yoel you can go through their robes and if you do the curl gesture when phasing through the robes it will make you extremely hard to find
Thanks fam! With that last one, I noticed you could walk on that little ridge but fell quickly, so I tried it while sprinting and got much further but still fell off, so I tried jumping last minute and baboom.
Probably not gunna making anymore, if you wanna make one of your own (or anyone reading this that wants to) I can give you a shoutout on twitter and the discord if you want
You missed the best hiding spot in the game, located Farron Keep: start from Farron Keep bonfire, exit the room, go right, hug the giant wall. Thre's a corner, so turn left and keep hugging the wall . When you come across another corner, don't turn left. Keep going froward, enter the wall, and admire the views. You can see things outside the wall but people won't see you. You'll still get poison build-up though.
Got to the last spot (21) on my first try. Thought "this was easy?" and desided to explore the small area to figure out how far you can go etc. Died to gravity and couldn't get back to my souls. After that I tried to get to that area 10 tames without success, gg. Found a solid hiding spot on one of the roofs at the Undead Settlement. *hint: it's close to the guy with the cage on his back. The "stables" roof.*
I'm gonna have to keep this on file to find all the cowards I invade. By the way, there is another spot I saw on a video that is pretty cool, there is a rock you can roll into by the Wolnir boss door in the catacombs, you'll fall into it and if you curl up you are practically invisible.
I few of them I had found before, like 3, 4, 12, and 17. Spot 7 was technically found by Inferno checking to see if you could get over there while recording for Pine's beyblade angels trolling video, but didn't make the jump. Also spot 1, 6, and 18 were found by people I named in the desc. The rest were found in about 4 hours. If you look hard, it actually becomes quite easy to notice spots you could get to.
Dude, you've missed one of the absolute best hiding spots. I won't exactly reveal it though, let's just say its got something to do with irythill and bushes.
Well i see my life as an invader is going to be a living hell now.
+Serrated Frost It already is without this tbh
i hope it will be, every fucker who invade me just go into the mob nests and expect i will follow them, fucking cowards.
This becomes _hysterical_ with Hidden Body and a Giant's Seed.

But now we know where they are 8)
You poor soul. On the plus side, trolling invaders is a lot of fun! ...Plus side for me, that is.
congrats on 10k subs, love ya dude
Thnx bby
+Iron Pineapple Dark Holes: Butt Buddies.
+Iron Pineapple just promote him on your channel, I'm sure there's a decent way to do that.
Simplicius A.
PvP duel between them would be neat.
These aren't just regular hiding spots.
These are...
ADVANCED hiding spots.

+JellyElite~ i made a own dks3 Vid if you dont mind Check it out ;) i dont wanna advertise myself tho i just wanna share the fun
And once you hide, equip the obscuring ring. That details important
obscurity ring doesn't affect the host.

*Takes out Dragonslayer Greatbow*
Guess a lot of people are gonna be using these spots now, better get huntin'.

Congrats for 10k man ! you awesome
Wow jelly, these are really good hiding spots. Also congrats on 10k!

My god that name
+JellyElite~ The one over in catacombs near Wolnir's door. That one is pretty friggin awesome. I likes it :D
That's the one with an imprint in gold saying Lakanus right?
Haha, your hiding spot, you made me chuckle :p
I have such an irrational, burning hatred for Hide n' Seek.
"Good work ahead"
Holy crap, me and Lakanus were testing some stuff and found out when you go into spot 13 you turn completely invisible!!

More!!!!! I love trolling like this when ganked. It happens to me alot in Irythill and road of sacrifice area. Also more Hiding tricks please!!!!
Theres an amazing spot in the kiln of the first flame where halfway up the path you can let yourself fall and if you're lucky an edge way down out of sight, I discovered this whilst fighting an invader and I fell. Super hard to do but amazing spot.

Three videos of hiding spots and NONE in The Ringed City? Gives me conniptions.
Laying down in the swamp is so mean. I did it once and I just used a dried finger so I could watch invaders turn on each other while I ate lunch.
There's a good spot exactly on top of that dead ladder smith guy at the Profaned capital bonfire. Just use the same gesture on top of his body that you get from him.
you have certainly managed to hide this video. . .in my heart!
wait what?

Acutally found #1 out by myself while waiting to be summoned as a Darkmoon. I love getting to spots that are not intended to get to :D
You missed one of the easiest hiding spots in the Farron poison swamp. Ha! Now no-one will ever be able to hide again. Thanks for all the looking tips man XDXDXD
I love the music choices for your videos :)
What patch was this performed on, the second hiding spot (ontop of the archway) wasn't possible before, good to see it works now :D
Forgot about the boulder glitch in carthus and the floor glitch in
Dragons peak
Can't get number 4 to work. Is it the camera angle you need to have just right? Or did they patch it and make the boards shorter. Lol or maybe I just suck. Lol
This is genius, I love this! Totally subbed! Kudos!
you should have added the kiln of the first flame one where you jump and your camera angle gets all weird and your below the map
number 15 also works on some trees in the area after the pontiff boss fight heads up though the archers need to be dead to hide there :P also landing on that exact part is kinda hard to do
some of these spots could be used for a snipers nest for gankers so they could have a tank down in the fight and a archer or sorcerer raining down attacks,
My favorite hiding spot is beneath the shit in Cathedral of the Deep. I just grab a dagger and quickstep at anyone who stumbles into my realm.
(At the end)
Oh hey great choice in music-AH SHIT WHERE'D HE GO?!
The one where you dive in the swamp is insane!
Hey man can you tell me what you used for your fashion souls in this vid it looks really good? I know that's the nameless king chest piece and the sellsword headpiece but I can't tell what the gloves are.(I think the leggings are the Alva version?
Fire keeper gloves, fallen knight leggings
Why go through the effort when curling up in a corner is enough to trick nearly every invader. Cool video though, these are spots I would never think of hiding in.
Awesome video, mate! :) Can you maybe tell me which songs you used? Especially the one at the end sounds super familiar.
Music is in the desc
JellyElite~ what's the song at the beginning
I have a hiding spot I found. if you go to where you meet yoel you can go through their robes and if you do the curl gesture when phasing through the robes it will make you extremely hard to find
Congrats on obtaining 10 thousand subs.
There is a hard spot on Kiln of the First Flame. Before entering the boss you can fall in a platform in the right side.
I wonder if you can attack from #11.
Anyway, Thank YOU Jelly!
These difficulties are for how difficult is to hide or how is difficult to find?
What is there to hide from if you're surrounded by 3 or more phantoms?
But seriously, fascinating video. How did you find that last one?
Thanks fam! With that last one, I noticed you could walk on that little ridge but fell quickly, so I tried it while sprinting and got much further but still fell off, so I tried jumping last minute and baboom.
can someone tell me how to get the summer for my collection and what the music is called
Thank you so much for this video and actually helped a lot finding these cowards.
hide and use dired finger and way of blue and let blue sentinel/dark moon get some pvp and red guys rage :3
and use ring from rosaria covenant :3
So what if i know of more hiding spots and want to contribute? They arent in the other videos either.
Probably not gunna making anymore, if you wanna make one of your own (or anyone reading this that wants to) I can give you a shoutout on twitter and the discord if you want
nr 6 is one i found out myself and because of it i was searching if vids exist about other spots. here i am :D
I know a good hiding spot right after the Pontiff Sulyvahn boss fight In the court yard with the gaints you can completely gitch inside one.
I wonder how long it took him to get that last clip.
any spots at pontiff area ?
What is that torso armor?
Great vid 5 is meh though I go to the top of the staircase and jump on the archway that separates the crystal lizard is on the other side
congratulations on the subs.
btw have you seen the ridiculous spot in anor londo?
Thanks! And nah, where's it at?
whats the point to hide if invaders can see your name?
im new to this game. so the question could be stupid.
Is a that Wii remix?
missed some pretty good spots in the area after pontiff
Theres a spot in after pontiff's bonfire that im not giving away cuz im afraid all the gankers are gonna check it if they lost me
Ive done the one laying down in the water and I've seen someone use the last one.
What chest piece is that?
You missed the best hiding spot in the game, located Farron Keep: start from Farron Keep bonfire, exit the room, go right, hug the giant wall. Thre's a corner, so turn left and keep hugging the wall . When you come across another corner, don't turn left. Keep going froward, enter the wall, and admire the views.

It seems there are quite a few good ones I've missed, probably will make a 2nd
Armor?
I bow down to the zen master of hiding. Thought I was gud.. damnit!
How i get that armor?
Ha. I always see if an invader can find me and laugh as they pass me over n over
Got to the last spot (21) on my first try.
The "stables" roof.*
what is the ost ?
those are pretty good! can you make a chameleon edition?
I tried to find spots without chameleon because I think they would be TOO many places to hide with it. Not sure though, could do.
What about group spots, Like places that only really work with 2+ chameleon'd players?
Now that would be interesting, I like the sound of that
I'm gonna have to keep this on file to find all the cowards I invade. By the way, there is another spot I saw on a video that is pretty cool, there is a rock you can roll into by the Wolnir boss door in the catacombs, you'll fall into it and if you curl up you are practically invisible.
Good luck on the hard ones. Fuck up and the host "wins".
Unfortunately for you, I'm sure you're shit at making the jumps to these, you will just end up clearing the level for me when I use my Seed.
That sounded sexual.
+The Rageaholic I really can't understand how the host hiding is remotely entertaining for any party involved, considering how many people do it.
I have a video on a really good spot in Archdragon Peak. You turn completely invisible! (Although, you have to take all your armor off.)
How much did it take to find all of these out
I few of them I had found before, like 3, 4, 12, and 17.
Great video, was very helpful!
+Dynamicman95 ... O.o
*Based Mighty Switch Force Soundtrack*
what chest piece o.O
Always good music... Subscribed...
How...how many tries did it take you for 21? I would have just given up and assumed they put an invisible wall there every time I fell off.
Took about 10 or so tries
Huh, that's not too bad. Though of course you only get one chance when invaded/invading.
Parkour souls!
Dark Souls III: Hide and Seek Edition
If I'm near the Old Wolf I just curl up behind it e-e
character keeps rolling off at lothric wall
Dude, you've missed one of the absolute best hiding spots.
I won't exactly reveal it though, let's just say its got something to do with irythill and bushes.
This is entertaining as fuck, find more!
Jesus there's so many places to hide
Glad my good hiding spots weren't shown.
Holy shit that last one by Wolnir.
OMG BRB! *hides, uses dried finger*
Great video!
best vid ever really helped
