EVE Online: Exploring Nullsec in a Loki | 1

I felt like changing things up a little and so took advantage of the winter nexus filaments to go exploring Null-sec for an evening. I think I'll do it again!

You really need to carry a mobile depot and a nullifier. Having a travel fit is so useful.

Could put the nullifier instead of the salvager. Offline it when not needed (not travelling) to avoid the borked drone bandwidth, targeting range etc. The salvager is only useful for DED overseer or other player wrecks…
(And he does have a mobile depot with him)

Does this have enough tank for a ghost site? In nullsec those cans hit really hard when they blow. You could do with a shield extender or a plate, spare micro warp drive and offline the HAMs to make it all fit when you run the site. Only take them on when alone in system (if someone warps to you in a ghost site, and you are fit to tank it … sit around and watch them blow)

Yup! But they need to use combat probes so if you see them on your dscan then you know your depot could be compromised

the probe problem is a basic mistake as combat probes are 1m3 and core are 0.1 m3 you had core probes in the fit so full its 80 i always check i have combats fitted in an extended launcher and i tend to do it with tech 1 only on saved fits

@@waddenderas7774 yes, it fits in the "subsystem bay" cargo hold, so it doesnt even take up space in your main cargohold

You can also fit an interdiction nullifier without the nullifier subsystem; it just doesn't get the bonuses.

yep the nullifier and subsystem are nice as you get a huge cooldown reduction. bring a mobile depot along and you're good to go :)

Exactly what sportsfreak said. The nullifier subsystem isn’t necessary, it just ameliorates the penalties so useful for long range travel - if you just plan on going through a few gates then refitting for hacking you could just keep the nullifier in the high slot used by the salvager, and offline it when not jumping gates.
… that’s what I do on my cheetah…
