You’re very welcome. Not sure how I missed your comment, but go ahead and check it out. Probably pretty good right now because of the rains, running but a little dry during the hot summers.
When I was recently in The Lake District I hiked to a few waterfalls. The most impressive one I think I found after a few hours hiking in typical Lakeland weather ie strong wind, rain and mist was Stanley Ghyll over on the west side not to far from Eskdale. It was breathtaking with a 150 foot drop, there’s a viewing platform that hangs out over the river. My wife and dog and myself were the only ones there as it was getting a bit late and the weather was terrible but so worth the hike.
Sounds amazing. Good on you for getting out in not the best weather. I will have to check it out and plan the waterfall into my next trip up to the lakes 👌
Awww thank you for watching and you’re most welcome ☺️ As you can tell, I was expecting to find a bigger waterfall, but in the summer it was very dry. I bet if I go now with all the rain, there will be a lot more water flowing. Perhaps, I will go again 👍
To be honest, I actually felt for myself 😉 it was a blistering hot summers day and I was dreaming of dipping in. Yes, Iceland’s waterfalls are magnificent. I have been there on expeditions a few times and so, if you need any tips just let me know 🤓 happy to help!
Thank you for this.
You’re most welcome. I’m happy to spread some joy ☺️
We don't seem to have many waterfalls in the south east so it's something I think I will have to go and find for myself. Thanks for sharing it.

@@ShameerShahProject I felt for you that you couldn't dip your feet in the water on a hot day! Will have to check out Iceland's waterfalls someday!
