Another interesting video, as usual. Dorking has some nice buildings and an interesting past. Loved the view from the bench where you had lunch. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe😀🥰
Another Great video excellent expose of the Dorking area. UK tourism should have you both on the payroll Your videos definitely make me want to fly over and see England. No one wants to hear about sandwiches? They make me hungry when you list the ingredients. From what you've shown Candice makes a great sanga👍 Alotment, My Nan lived in East Tilbury she used to let a fella use her backgarden to grow veg on the understanding that she was able pick what she needed. Cheers Ian
hi tom Dorking looked a nice little town full of history and glory wood looked lovely and could be a possible wild camp the cider looked nice one to put on my list to try stay safe and will see you on the next one
🤣😂🤣...early doors on the ‘bye’ Candice!!...good for you 👍. I was only just thinking that it’s about time Tom did a guest appearance on a video Candice films.... Well done you two for plodding on through the rain 🌧
If there is some thing to stop me and my dad watching the news it is you 2 and your walks so good. . My dad asking is there any apples in this weeks cider.
Very interesting Tom I never knew there was so much history there. Normally I just drive through and have never seen any of that. Thank for sharing 👍🇬🇧😄
A little known fact about Thomas Hope was that he use to hide in the woods in a hollowed out tree preying on travellers passing by, he'd poke his willy out a hole in the tree demanding payment for safe passage through the woods!! That's where the phrase 'Glory hole' came from And 'Glory wood' got the name!! A bloke down the pub told me that, surprised there ain't a blue plaque on the fallen tree 5:44 as that may well have been the actual tree? 😉🤣
Haha good try but that's not true! Just looked it up. My Google history is horrific anyway so looking up glory holes is the least of my problems lol. The term could originate from the glass blowing industry or gay subculture. Quite fascinating actually lol.
Glory Wood just sounds so dodgy 😁There is a breed of chicken called a Dorking that is one of the oldest breeds of chook - it is also one of the few breeds of chickens that has a 5th toe. I guess that's why they have chooks on all the signs. I'm sure there must be grounds for some cock jokes based on all of this but I shan't go there! ATB Hambo 🐓🌳
Nice one Tom and lovely Candice, how on earth does she put up with your flatulence. Your casual subs might not know what I am on about. They should check your most recent adventure, nothing like dry humor even though it did sound a bit wet to me in farts... oh er sorry ....parts.
I always wanted to relocated my carpentry business to Dorking, then I could become the Door King of Dorking.
🤣🤣
Thanks for the walk i swear its only the VERY lovely Candice and your antics thats keeping me sane at the moment 🥴Cheers Rob
Nice little walk Tom. I await Candice starting up her allotment channel 🙂👍
