the smash abilities series returns! this series is so tough to work with given the many "gimmicks" a character can have you know
for peach and daisy, they got the float and turnip gimmicks
bowser has the bowser bomb, side b, and tough guy
ice climbers have desyncs and nana AI being absolutely useless
sheik has frame data, needles and bouncing fish
zelda has her neutral b and down b
doctor mario has his down b
pichu has hurting himself and being very light
falco has uptilt
marth has sweet spot and lucina has the shieldbreaker
young link has fire arrows
and ganon has doriyah, uptilt, ganon punch, and ganoncide!

Falco side B spike could be a gimmick

Zelda fair and bair are pretty gimmicky
You missed the fact that Marth (and i think Lucina's) Shieldbreaker is stronger when you hit the head but you did kill with it at 13:03
I think bowser flame breath could be a gimmick and also ice climbers down-b could also be a gimmick

As a Falco main I agree, also down tilt being a combo starter, a kill move, a spacing tool, a safe shield pressure move, a reliable lawyer, and my personal pick for man of the year.

@@arnausg350 they definitely did before the buffs from a few patches ago. I feel like after the buffs they are a lot more consistent, which is exactly what Marth needed.
Zelda's Gimmick is killing from across the entire stage with her cheater Final Smash.

When you realize hero used magic burst in that first bowser match so bowser could’ve tough guy’ed it
Just so you know, when you get to Ryu and Ken, there's a thing called a "Kara cancel" that definitely could be considered a gimmick. Also obviously shoryuken, and focus attack. I play both (i know, cringe, sorry, but I do) so if I forgot any, someone else respond and hopefully this helps when you do them
i think canceling a regular move to a special could be considered a gimmick. for ryu, heavy forward tilt to shoryuken or light down tilt to tatsumaki might be the easier ones. not sure for ken. maybe focus attack dash canceling could count as a gimmick as well
i can't wait for you to try and get a Gordo-Insta-Kill against a reflector character. That's gonna be *FUN*
That doc combo was so clean
As a Kazuya main, I can give you some gimmicks to prepare for. 1. Rage Drive (input one of course); this kills so early I've won matches where I was at 130%+ and they were at 40%. 2. Electric Wind God Fist; the most essential part of Kazuya's kit, as well as the most toxic. 3. Stuns; these include side B and Demon God Fist: Crouch + A while standing up. 4. Super armour. When isn't super armour a gimmick?
That Dr. Mario 0-to-death was clean as hell ngl
Ike's sound effect when his sword would connect in brawl was THE MOST satisfying slashing sound and I'm still bitter they changed it to that weak sounding almost wet sound -_-
I think Zelda's gimmick could also be killing with her elevator.
Idea for new series: Getting a kill within 10 seconds for each row?

I'd say one of Zelda's gimmicks is the sweet spots on her fair and bair.
Another thing we recently just learned is that Marth actually does more damage to people's head's with his sword... so good luck with that.

That doc zero to death was actually crazy. but what scared me most in the video was the fact a Kazuya parried shield break and then inputted electric wind god fist 4 times in a row.
If you ask me, I'd say Zelda's biggest gimmick is not her specials, but her Final Smash. That's easily her biggest gimmick

In fairness to the Ice Climbers, I'd say "Nana does an unexpected thing independently of Popo that results in someone dying" IS their main gimmick. Imo desync combos require too much training and effort to really be a Gimmick as such, more of a feature.
