Another great road trip. I really wish the governments kept hybrids for a while before dumping petrol and diesel fully. Hybrids are the best way forward for now :) Thank you both :)
Glad you liked it! It's common sense really - for those not ready (or able) to take the leap straight to fully electric, the hybrid is the best of both. *A
@@PlanetautoUK And thanks for the entertaining review... they seem to have run out of hybrids in the States, and while supposedly still being manufactured until next month, I couldn't find one in a nationwide search. Here they've got this new trick, dealer website show stock (even offer VINs) but them have them labelled (in small print) as "in transit" or other such term. I wonder how many dealerships are showing those same VINs? 🙃
For many it is the perfect transition vehicle. Not everyone is ready (or able) to go fully electric yet, so this is a sensible step forward for a lot of people. *A
@@PlanetautoUK This is a con that you seem to have fallen for, the same as many people. Converting petrol to electricity and then using the electricity to drive the car, buy the laws of physics, must be less efficient than just using a petrol engine to directly drive the car. It is a simple con, lie, gimmick by car manufacturers to keep selling petrol engines, exhausts, etc, and increases prices by installing pointless batteries and electric motors. The claimed mpg figures are based on impossible driving that people cannot replicate in real life. The same with PHEVs that can only provide heat by running the petrol engines and the new MeV engine combinations. Do you not agree that we are being mislead?
Love the road trips.... some of the most thorough reviews available!
Thank you for your kind words Russ! *A

I got Kia Niro hybrid 2020 and I'm very happy and thankful about the car 😊
Great video by the way 👏😊
Superb SUVs - thank you Lixy
@@PlanetautoUK Yes it's an amazing car !!!
Any adventures planned?
@@PlanetautoUK probably next year plan to go to my country 2500 miles to drive 😊
Wow, you don’t do things by halves, it’ll walk it 😊 enjoy and keep us posted - we love a road-trip.
Drove my 2022 pre- facelift model on a 220 mile round trip and got 60.4mpg. Put it in sport mode and floor it and it is pretty quick
Impressive, especially if you drive like me, yes they can shift, thank you Watch A lot
Which one would you prefer, especially regarding motorway speeds in terms tire and wind noise? Niro 1st Gen Hybrid or Hyundai Kona Hybrid 2022?
hmm much of a muchness, either we'd be happy with for obvios reasons:) thank you Gokcan
Is that a Phoibos Voyager on your wrist?
It’s either a Tag Formula 1 or an Omologato DS Tek Cheetah
I seem to have somehow missed it, what was the result on the distance you are able to go on one tank, or the average miles per gallon?
We’ll check, can’t remember off hand Gabriel, thank you

You’re very welcome, everything’s to pot - serious lack of everything here, so much its affecting pretty much all new cars etc - what a trick
I was expecting more MPG. I GOT 57.7 IN A MERCEDES S CLASS DIESEL. And that a huge car full of luxury Thanks for the video.
I don’t drive economically or I didn’t until last week 😆 it will do more without me behind the wheel, you’re welcome Boss
Diesels have higher mpg on average than petrol cars
They do, however some of the best economy has been achieved by Petrol, one extreme XL1, thank you Authorified
@@PlanetautoUK never knew, thanks!
When I flick mine over into S mode I leave it in that position
By that logic you’ve flicked it once 😀
Hope you're doing better Annabelle
Thanks Alexandria! It took a while, but I finally got my voice back. Hope you enjoyed the road trip! *A
Pointless electric vehicles. All fuelled by petrol.
For many it is the perfect transition vehicle. Not everyone is ready (or able) to go fully electric yet, so this is a sensible step forward for a lot of people. *A
