It’s so realistic. The slight stuttering, the talking over each other, all of it comes together so beautifully and realistically

This small scene showed a lot of these two. They both regretted how things went down in their universe, hence why they jumped at the opportunity to help cure these guys.
It was also a hint telling us he's actually the spiderman in the SSU and he's returning he got a second chance

You know what I just realized? They never discussed “Peter Tingle.” Like, those two could have instantly gotten rid of the inherent awkwardness and embarrassment the young Peter has around what, is actually, a very important ability. Like, huge and sudden confidence boost right there to rename it “spider sense.” Not to mention, that scene would have been comedy gold!
Missed opportunity, for sure, even when Tom's Peter mentions "trust your tingle" during the battle.
I really wish they mentioned the Osbournes and how dangerous Goblin is.
I can honestly watch a full movie of them just talking about random shit and not get bored at all.

I really think this convo throws the whole "Andrew's Peter is too cool" complaint out the window. He may "look" the coolest, but throughout this entire discussion between the 3 Peters, he's the one who's the most awkward.

Do those sound like "cool kid" quotes to you? No. He's weird. He's quirky. He's got a bit of social ineptitude. Being good-looking and being a social butterfly are not the same thing, haha.
We (at least I) didn't say he was too cool in the sense that he was charismatic or a smooth kinda cool guy with the perfect words. He definitely has always been this awkward guy. But he was too "cool" in the sense that, while an awkward kid who keeps to himself and is an outcast, he was still a _cool_ awkward outcast who skateboards like its second nature to him and has the edgy stylized hoodie outfits.
Tom and Tobey on the other hands, are the preppy adorkable nerdie kids whom Peter is depicted as in the comics. Andrew on the other hand, had too much style. (But not a bad thing at the end of the day, it helped make his TASM1 suit make sense since it was more punk than friendly neighborhood the way the TASM2 suit was)

But there's also been hundreds of different interpretations of Peter Parker in the comics where he's depicted as more of a "cool" type of outcast with a more handsome nerd thing going on. It was a less common interpretation of him, but it has happened in the comics, and prior to TASM 1's release. Either way though, we both like him, so there's not much to argue about there I guess, haha.

technically it's canon that at least Tobey and Andrew meet again. Both of them fought in Spider-Verse off panel. They aren't shown, but two other Spider-Men are talking about two unmasked ones who look like the guy from Sea Biscuit (Tobey), and the Social Network (Andrew). So it's possible that happens after this movie takes place and they meet again.

Andrew's peter is so lonely man. Its actually heart breaking, everything he says has so much subtext behind it, particularly the subtle hints to his greatest regret not relating to Max or Connors, but to Gwen.
Especially when he mentions how he would like to do this again sometime and even saying he’d ask for tobeys number after the battle really shows, how lonely and depressing his life has been until he found 2 people he can finally relate too and be able to not hide his secret from
What I'd give to see what Andrew's Peter went through after TASM 2, or even just a continuation of his story given everything that's happened between him and Sony.
You can just feel how heavy his burdens are, how they're always affecting him, even with all of the jokes; There's just this level of sadness to him that you can't help but recognize, and that's only on the surface.
I can only imagine what he was going through on those nights when he was alone, all of this emotional turmoil swirling in his head and heart as he swung through the city, through a life that he'd have to keep pressing forward with following the loss of Uncle Ben, Captain Stacy, Gwen and his best friend Harry.
It's clear to me as well that he hadn't even seriously considered the possibility of a 'MJ'. How did all of his ragefulness and bitterness end up expressing themselves? How did he get to the point that he was at when he was introduced in No Way Home, being able to comfort a version of himself that was well on his way to succumbing to that very darkness as well?
With all of these thoughts, I have to ask:
Given his great individual performance in the film, how much of it stemmed from how dirty Sony did him?
Regardless though, he really does scream Spider-Man to me, to an absolute T. To me, he should still be playing Spider-Man or at least close to wrapping up his time with it after a heartfelt series of good films.
I've always held the opinion that I can see Sony's films working far better if Andrew's Spider-Man was in them, to tie all of them together. Not only does he from all 3 films tonally fit the best, but with minor re-tweaks you could easily rework him into all of the films, and he'd be a perfect stand-in, especially against Tom Hardy's Venom and Jared Leto's Morbius. He could really be the centerpiece of a 'universe' of films if all went well. God how I wish they'd given him another chance.
Hopefully we all see him again. He will always be my Spider-Man.

When Andrew was asking Tobey that if he thinks “Web” and it will happen, I think Tobey could’ve brought up how when he first discovered his powers, that idea didn’t work. How he was on that roof shouting “Go web! Up, up, and away web!” and it didn’t work. That he only has to do that finger thing to make it actually work.
That was my thought as well; I thought one of them would bring up how Tobey's hand gesture is the same as how Andrew and Tom have to activate their mechanisms.
the finger pose isn't what causes it, cause he does the rock n roll pose just before it and it does nothing.
his first web happened immediately after saving mj, so he was high off of endorphins. the next time he webs, immediately after he does the rock hand pose failure, it's because he's wishing it comes out.
@@natayaway if you actually pay attention to Peter's hand during the scene where he shoots a web for the first time in the cafeteria, he still flexes the middle and ring finger to shoot out the web so it's not random. The rock and roll pose he tried on the roof was actually incorrect as he flexed his thumb over the middle and ring finger. That rooftop scene shows how that very specific finger pose is responsible since he tried a bunch of other poses before which didn't work
@@abdullahyusof4739 in spiderman 2, when he loses his powers and falls mid swing, he does the full hand pose for a solid second as he's aiming for the next swing so it's not a consequence of the pose, it is a deliberate "will it to happen" thing.
in the cafeteria scene in spiderman 1, at that point he's pulling off the silverware and he was grossed out by the webbing in the cafeteria so he wanted the webbing to get off of him, which reinforces the "will it to happen" that triggered it initially, originally, they wanted it to be webshooters so the pose makes sense, but now it's just a vestigial part of the script. they retconned the pose as just a side effect of comfort that's iconic.
@@natayaway I agree that the pose itself isn’t inherently responsible for the webs coming out as the rooftop scene showed that Peter’s actually aimed using that pose but it was Peter’s own control over his webs is what actually shoots it out. So while the pose isn’t causal for the web, it is what enables the webs to shoot out in the first place (as you mentioned, they established it that way because it’s iconic and familiar).

This is the MOST authentic dialog I've ever heard in any movie! It's so ironic how in sync these people are with one another, whilst having played 3 VERY different iterations of Peter Parker. It's just one of those "are you sure" kinda coincidences.

Low-key kinda feels the beginning of "The SpideyCast" with Tobey, Andrew, and Tom. Where they can talk about their experiences of being cast as Spiderman, how they felt along the way, and what their hopes are for future spiderman movies; whether it be for Tobey, Andy, Tom, or even some other young actor that gets into a contract with Marvel/Disney. Maybe they can even delve into Into The Spiderverse as well, and talk about ideas of their characters hanging out or trying to contact each other from other dimensions

Honestly I'm pretty sure both Tobey and Tom would much prefer fighting a Russian guy in a mechanical rhino suit because you know how deadly and strong Venom and Thanos were compared to humans. It would have been nice to see Tobey and Tom tell Andrew that he's lucky to not have fought an alien yet.
The best way can describe all of them is Tobey is THE Spiderman, Andrew is the most talented and most tragic Spiderman, and Tom is the best Peter Parker Spiderman.
Tom perfectly portrays that teenage energy a boy would have being a superhero.
Andrew’s story is incredible and makes us all cry even if you’re not a marvel fan. But nothing beats the original Spider Man.
When Andrew mentions about Tobey's web shooting mechanism, it's actually a call back to the first movie when he tries to shoot webs for the first time.

I think the framework is scripted but the delivery and most of it definitely feels improvised and it is the best part of the movie lol

Absolutely agree. They all resemble Spider-Man in an awesome way
So, to me, this conversation does come off as a bit awkward, but then again, these three are basically talking to different versions of themselves, so the idea that a conversation like this wouldn't come off as awkward is just expecting too much. But the way these three are able to make a simple brotherly conversation come off as one of the most iconic moments in cinematic history is just beyond incredible. My only complaint would be I would've like to have seen more moments of heart to heart chats between the Spider-Men and their adversaries. I mean, the most we get is a deep conversation between Octavius and Tobey-Peter, and a deep conversation between Max and Andrew-Peter. A part of me was kind of hoping for a deep moment between Norman and Tobey-Peter or a moment between Tobey-Peter and Flint, something of a kind of reconciliation between them. But, hey, for what it was worth, it was great, and I loved every second of it.

Yeah. Imagine Tobey telling them more about Venom. For Tom, it would prepare him for when he meets the symbiote from Tom Hardy that was left behind. Tobey could’ve gave him advice to use vibrational sounds to weaken it. And even though it’s powerful, don’t let it consume you because Tom could hurt his friends like what Tobey did. It could even prepare Andrew since it is confirmed there is a symbiote buried with the Sinister Six equipment in Oscorp according to behind the scenes stuff in TASM2 and plans for TASM3.
Tom and Andrew would’ve been amazed to hear that Sandman was the one who killed Tobey’s version of Uncle Ben.
Tom mentioning Vulture could’ve been effecting for Andrew since there is a Vulture suit in his version of Oscorp.
With Tom describing Thanos, Tobey and Andrew would agree that he is definitely the worst villain of them all. They would’ve been like “Wait. You guys were dead for 5 years?”
Tobey and Andrew would be jealous of the Iron-Spider suit because of those spider legs that can come out, that it has electrical webs, the mask can record videos and call people. They would want it to help them out like use X-Ray vision in the mask.
Until this day I still can't believe it like wtf that Tobey and Andrew agreed to come back one last time now we will never get another cameo of them this is too good to be true nobody will ever believe it for all my people in this universe who have passed away from covid

Its also so cool because it adds a layer of self love for all these Spider-men as they get to share the experiences and losses they've taken and genuinely get to heal and process things easier at a wiser and healthier perspective while talking with literal other versions of themselves.
I really truly enjoyed this movie. To me, from my experience, this was just about the closest thing to a live-action version of Spider-Man into/Across the spider-Verse. All I really needed was other characters such as Spider-Gwen and Miles Morales Spider-Man 🕷️🕸️

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man = The Marvelous Spider-Man
The first two nicknames are actually the true nicknames. Thought it be fun to try and see which is Tom Holland’s true Spider-Man nickname so I gave him “The Marvelous Spider-Man” since it just seems like it fits well with his adaptation.
This should’ve been in the original movie. The original scene seems so rushed now
I watched this movie in the cinema ! with my brother and my Mom...i loved it so much ❤ we didnt Expecte that Tobey and Andrew would be in the Movie 😮😊❤ after all these years. They finaly meet each other, thats my dream cone true❤❤😊
It still makes me happy that Tobey got the happy ending. Not many spider people get that ending
God how I wish we got to see more interactions like these. I’d love to see their own spin off film or series of them all helping one another out through some trauma or insurmountable obstacle.
It’d be perfect right now for them to help Tom-Spidey with his whole world forgetting him essentially but not the symbol. He’s literally starting from nothing at all while also having lost it all trying to protect everyone.
It’s really an issue none of the Spider-Men can grasp as they each have their friends, some family, some loved ones. At least to my knowledge
this scene is probably the most organic and natural conversation in a superhero movie
We need an extended cut of the extended cut because I could honestly do an entire 20 minutes of them just talking like this
Should have left this in, everyone would have said it was their favourite part of the movie. I love Tobey Maguire and his ability to do understated reactions that perfectly fit the situation.
I watched the Raimi Spider-man 1,2 and 3 on Netflix for the first time when i was a 10 year old girl.😊 until These Movie came out in 2021, i Was so shocked😮😮😮

Tobey: the wise and supportive eldest brother who offers guidance without being overbearing.
Andrew: the self-depreciating middle brother struggling to be comfortable with himself but keeps trying.
Tom: the impulsive youngest brother seeking to prove his capabilities.
I love how realistic this conversation is.
