So I went to slime island, bumped everyone up to lvl 40/41, came back and easily beat them both.
The actual name of the island is Insula Orientalis. To find it, open your map and find The Warriors Rest Inn. It's the island that's almost directly east from there. The safest way to get there is to go to Lonalulu and sail around the tip northward to the island. Use a Holy Water while you're sailing there to prevent any encounters on the way. There are no campsites at the island so any time you need to rest you'll have to go back to Lonalulu, so be careful not to push yourself too much. Metal slimes have a low chance of spawning with other creatures on the island, but it can take a while. I'd recommend only fighting the Slime Knights, Healslimes and Bite Bulbs because they're easy enough to deal with and can't cause much damage. Don't bother engaging the regular Slimes, because they'll always transform into a King Slime. They can be a pain to fight and the exp isn't worth the trouble. It might take an hour or two depending on your luck, but once you hit around lvl 40 you'll be set and won't need to do any grinding for a long while. Also make sure you have Metal abilities (Metal Slash for Luminary, Metalicker for Erik) because nothing else works on them and they tend to run away in a couple turns. There's also a Pep Power that Erik and the Luminary can do called Metal Medley that works wonders.
@@fatmatt_04 if everyone is around level 50 you can easily beat the final boss, so long as you keep your party buffed and healed. From there just keep Jade in Re-Vamp mode and have her and Hero whale on the boss. I didn't really use Erik or Rab in the fight.

This must've been the longest turn based fight I've ever had. Playing on hard mode and super shypox of the draconian quest, Jade felt like enough of a boss for me, then Booga comes out. The worst part is that he's manageable because he doesn't hit so hard, so much as he keeps enchanting the party, and with shypox on top, I kept healing and recovering with everything I had, which dragged the fight even longer. In the end it came down to Hendric with 1 single hp point and a zero mana, the closest I've ever been in any game to nothing, and Booga had been in the orange life-name for a while, so when I had hit attack, Booga dodged. I inmediatatly disarmed my beautiful dualwielding hero and build him as a lightning nuke with Kazap, used the zero cost pep up skill with him and Rab, proceeded to rain the wrath of Zeus on Booga and finished him up with the newly unlocked four way pep skill Katastrophe. Great fight, had I never been put trought this I wouldn't have realized I could just nuke bosses with Kazap if I added the zero mana zone on top of the hero's mana. The game is much more fun now, but shypox in hard mode is still a pain.
This fight was HARD. I was underleveled going into it and fighting jade pretty much drained all my mp. Jade wasn't too difficult but booga was a nightmare because I kept getting really unlucky and my party would be unable to act half the time and on top of that no mp to nuke him. It felt like an epic fight even though it dragged on.

It really went down to the wire with my boss fight. No more mp to heal and use skills, all of my characters in the red and Hero beats Booga via regular attack. It cost me a couple of sage elixirs and a magic water but it got done. My advice is to use decelerate on Jade. Her evasion is really good in this fight and without it, you'll drain your MP like I did. And for Booga Sap is a must. Need to damage him quickly before he drains the last of your MP.
Its about how all this smuttymcsmut smut about overly excessive graphics and personally Innoffencive storyline telling that only the more genuine porn won the day
The hardest boss for me so far was the flying serpend by snifferheim in act 3 and the monster that comes out of the samd in battleground. Jade was frustrating but as long as you keep everyone topped off and are patient.. i think i only died once to her.
Annnnnd I just beat it after grinding for a few hours, and I ended the battle with no mp and also very low hp. I had to come back to see if I was under level but I was actually over level. That’s ridiculous
While the boss is a hard fight it’s mostly depends on how you invest your SP and game play style. The number one problem that new players come by during boss fights is HP. You have Rab and Sylv for buff and heath. While the main character and Hendrik should be use or offensive attacks. I was like 34 while everyone else was like 35 or 37. A good tip in my opinion is use Rab’s illusion spell to make him miss attacks. You have to take risk and not heal, if you are smart you should get Zingy stick for Rab.
This guy is insanely hard to beat, to the point it's practically unfair, I'm close to level 40 with stupid high stats all around and jade still fkin destroys me. How the hell am I supposed to fight the boss if I can't defeat jade without at least 2 of my party members fkin dying on me.
You can do it at like the high 30s to 40s you just have to do it all manually and take your time and properly prepare, the AI for the team tactics is a little dumb for these equal level boss battles and sometimes makes stupid decisions.
I’m currently on this boss and I can take down jade with ease but the status effects just keep getting my slapped down, my set ups just all wrong at the moment think I need to go back and change my character build I’m only doing about 150 damage atm I’ll switch to a great sword and come back
This is really the only boss in Act 2 that I found even remotely cheap. I thought it was going to have you first fight Jade to break her of the Brainwashing, recuperate afterwards and THEN you fight Booga a bit later. But NOPE! 2 Boss Fights in a Row with NO time to heal between them. So if you ended up using most of your MP and HP/MP restoring Items on Jinxed Jade, Get used to being Beguile locked because Booga Spams the crap out of his Beguilment moves. Even moreso than Jade.
DQ IX has another moment in the game where you have 2 boss battles one after another, thing being those are late-game and the first boss will spam the shit out of Kafrizz and a multi-hit attack while the second form has desperates, block chance, and a LOT of HP. This was way too easy compared to that, I can assure you there are more annoying 2 fight bosses than this.
@@penitente3337 If you're refering to Mordegon, then he's meant to be the final Boss of act 2, which Final bosses (or big Bads) are generally expected to have a 2 phase fight. This one is what I refer to as a Sucker punch boss. When I got to this part, I thought I'd have to fight Jade to get her back to normal, Booga shows his ugly mug when the party is weakened from fighting Jade, forcing them to leave with Jade, still in Monster form but now mentally herself again, and come back after coming up with a plan to beat Booga. Keep in mind that you're only source for curing Beguilment is Sylvando's Sobering Slap at this point, which is a Major pain in the ass in both fights, since it's basically the bastard love child of paralysis and confusion in this game. Maybe overthink your strategy. Sylv and Rab can heal, the hero does damage and Hendrik buffs and does damage. Also consider to use some items. I didn't have that much problems with them. Sure, Booga was annoying but it could be handled. I was around lvl 40 with my team.

The music builds. It's almost like a Miyazaki movie. Everything is climbable be it with a stamina bar.

Unsatisfied with Jade's character arc. We need justice for Jade!
Damn that's a sexy voice
Henrick couldn't handle Jade's sultry tones
Maan Okay Oh, you must be talking about Booga.
Tbh, the Japanese dub is better because Martina/Jade is Ryuko Matoi, Yang Xiao Long, Yukiko Amagi, and Kallen.
@@Silent_FoolWait, her Japanese VA did the voice of Yang from RWBY?
3:50 was funny
16:08 he had it coming that's what Jade meant by "RETURNED" the favor with "INTEREST" good job girl 😎👍
I burst out laughing during that fight. When he cast the spell and everyone started dancing, I couldn't help myself and started laughing the whole fight. lmao
Jade and morrigan from dragon age..... Please be in my personal heaven.
She used Re-Vamp then Multifeet to beat booga
My first playthrough, I would play until the game was tough, then just get 10 levels. Repeat.
My second playthrough, I started debuffing/ buffing more regularly and the game is more fun than ever.
Stop all this nonsense and come with us will ye? In case you’ve forgotten Mordegon is still out there! We need ye!
“Oh be quiet, you doddery old fool! Your’re ruining the mood!”
More than half of the battle with booga I had no mp on anyone but rab.
Only got 2 crits too...
Jade: Had your wicked ways with me, would you?
this boss battle was tough and booga was even tougher
They did this for the doujinshi, didn't they?
Yes.

The hardest boss for me so far was the flying serpend by snifferheim in act 3 and the monster that comes out of the samd in battleground.
Jade was frustrating but as long as you keep everyone topped off and are patient.. i think i only died once to her.
More unfair than Mordegon damaging you for trying to heal yourself?
I’m play DQ11s and damn, I’m underlevel
I just lost to this series twice. first time I got to booga, second try Jade kicked my ass, time to go grind a few levels somewhere.
It’s tough to level up, and the grind is the worst part of the game lol, at least to me
Annnnnd I just beat it after grinding for a few hours, and I ended the battle with no mp and also very low hp.
Sadly Metal Slimes and Liquid Metal Slimes are hard to find. They don't spawn in overworld and have low spawn rates when they spawn along side enemies

Just one question for my sanity how long was she under control and did he do anything to jade?
1st ever discord mod: Booga
AW YEAH!
back to back fights where both of them spammed entire group status moves... yeah this fight kicked my ass
I wished Jade meets Grand Master Pang
This guy is insanely hard to beat, to the point it's practically unfair, I'm close to level 40 with stupid high stats all around and jade still fkin destroys me. How the hell am I supposed to fight the boss if I can't defeat jade without at least 2 of my party members fkin dying on me.
Funsize Forge items to +3, respec, items, buffs and debuffs. It can make battles easier.
15:29 -- There is NO better example anywhere of fury and a woman scorned!
I feel like all that leveling up was pointless
I just noticed your level and realized how bad i am at RPGs cause I'm a few levels higher and still losing.
1:24 best part
This kinda reminds me of ff2, with the lamia queen
Is there anyways to counter or block Jade from her "charming" , or any accessory to counter acts it?
You can get items that reduce the effects taken from the charming

Best fight in the game! I love the way Jade says, “Give in to me” @5:22
What is the recommended level for beating these bosses
You can do it at like the high 30s to 40s you just have to do it all manually and take your time and properly prepare, the AI for the team tactics is a little dumb for these equal level boss battles and sometimes makes stupid decisions.

Betwen 38 and 40 i geusse
Booga has the same voice actor for mumkhar.
Party LV is 40...Me
Somewhere around 45 to 60-ish.
Then there the weird part......I did not fight her and booga. I leave on auto-pilot
How does the hero have that armor already though??
Its obtainable in Act 1
17:39 U can spank me Jade👋🤣❤
I’m currently on this boss and I can take down jade with ease but the status effects just keep getting my slapped down, my set ups just all wrong at the moment think I need to go back and change my character build I’m only doing about 150 damage atm I’ll switch to a great sword and come back
Beat booga with everyone on auto play lol I always overlevel anyway
Jade remember what Booga did😂
I would've folded for this woman so fast if I was the luminary 😂
Yeah, the fight isn't too hard, but it's the fact that your party will likely be injured going into a boss that sucker punches you.
@@penitente3337Okay, reading this later, and I realized you were reffering to King Godwyn. Yeah, he's a Pain too admittedly.
i was yelling at my teamates saying how ar you mesmerised by him

Where do you get that sweet armor for the hero?
Late reply but I believe it was crafted if I remember right.
Drasilian Armor. found in the ruins of Dundrasil in Act 1 and I think 2 and 3 too.

Booga is frustrating as hell. The fight wouldn't be as difficult if he didn't have this skip turn moves

i am about 38 level and had trouble because he always enchanted the party members so i bought and equipped the glasses from academia that makes it harder to enchant a team mate
guess what changed ? NOTHING ! this game has a very straight way to tell you that you are under leveled even if its in the most unfair way
seriously after 40 hours of playing i am wondering was skill actually a factor or am i just watching an arse fairy tale story with fake gameplay that lets you win only if you are at the required level
kudos for fooling me for 40 hours .. ps im not progressing unless i defeat the boss in my current level which means i'm going to uninstall the game pretty soon .. screw the story !.
oof
Call me salty, or tell me to git gud, but this fight is, hands down, complete bullshit!
I’ve been trying to beat these two for months now and I’m still stuck (and don’t tell me to farm, already did that and it’s still not working!)!
Maybe overthink your strategy. Sylv and Rab can heal, the hero does damage and Hendrik buffs and does damage. Also consider to use some items.
I didn't have that much problems with them. Sure, Booga was annoying but it could be handled. I was around lvl 40 with my team.
@@red_dll Thanks a lot! ^^ your strategy made it really different lol. I lost it so easily on my first try that I thought I would have to waste my time with farming (which I hate so -_-) . Then I read this comment and easily won on my second try! I used Rab's Multiheal, Sylv's debuffs and attack&buff skills of Luminary and Hendrik.

Nice. Honestly I forgot that I wrote this comment. I'm glad I could help, makes me happy :)
Good luck on your playthrough.
The only way I beat it was grinding in laguna Di gondolia on the Hardy hands that rarely spawn there, I got carried away and grinded to like, lv44 each and it still took me 2 attempts, and this was on the switch version, so I had access to the loot from the past altars available
Booga is a joke if you know how to beat him ;)
This is so unfair
this was the most annoying part of the game imo
