Greetings from Montréal! Thanks for sharing this trip. The landscapes, the isolation, the wildlife, the gear (the sheer amount of it!), it was all amazing. Really shows how determined and organized someone needs to be to tackle a long journey in this kind of environment. I bet the train ride home felt like a day at the spa!

You are very lucky to be in the beautiful nature and having the time to take it in The coldest I ever experienced was -35C overnight in a ger ( yurt ) in Mongolia. Even the horses had curled up on the ground to sleep in the lee of a big rock. I just bought a "gravel" bike last week, and am investigating a new helmet and things. You inspire me for some at least small trips here in Czech Republic. And you went a little Laptap Mad haha jumping into the snow :) Thank you again. You are an inspriation. about five years ago I was of the opinion that you can't ride a bike in winter. but I saw a video where an Italian man was cycling in the winter and sleeping in a tent. I understood that the cold is not a problem, it's just a challenge.

Very interesting haha sometimes I make small trips on my bike too, but I live in Brazil haha it's suprising to see a bike trip in cold weather
