That was fantastic ! I am envious. I would so love to do a cycle trip like this. I'm an Irishman, living in prague, cz. Today begins at minus 10C ( "real feel" minus 14C ). I love it. So fresh and cold. We don't get cold like that in Ireland (it's too damp ). And I guess the bears up there are hybernating, and there are no local dogs chasing you on the bike. I imagine that hot food in the last place tasted so good after a long day on the bike. Greetings !
In Finland, bears are not a problem in winter or summer. I've never seen a bear, even though I've been in the woods all my life. In Finland, dogs are kept locked up. I think about -15 degrees is good because then the air is dry. You have to make a trip to Finland, you can do this winter bike tour.

Mulla on kasläskipyörä mutta kylmäsillä ihan keskellä kesääpyöräilen ja en koskaan enää osta tavistapyörää.
