- This is the 12inch version of strakers follow up to "a walk in the park" & in my opinion it is at least as good but did not get the same success reaching 61 in the uk chart. I tried to find photos of nick to put in this video but after much searching could not find any (even on his own website)so i just made it with a load of trains (mainly night shots,"midnight train" get it?).
HUGE song ...packed my dance floor every time!
A Walk In The Park and this phantastic song are both on the same level.
This was a big dance hit in the San Francisco clubs in 1981, I haven't heard it since then. Thanks so much for unearthing!
One of my favorite lost disco songs of all time. I dedicate this to our train towns of
Sullivan,Bourbon,Cuba,St.James,Rolla,Newburg,
Arlington,Dixon,etc off the old Frisco Line.

25 years ago I was at my cross-roads and one day I've listened this hit at least 20 times, I liked it that much, and brought me a lot of luck!
Today I'm at my cross-roads again, and I'm listening this hit and makes very, very optimistic!

I love this song, and this video/train thing thats attached is so good. Everytime I watch it and listen to it it tells me a different story. I pop back regular to see this video, I love it. Many of the old engines in there - sadly, a lot of younger generation will never see. It reminds minds me of the 1970's so much. I want to catch one of these trains and go back there.... Well done to the people who did this, thanks you...

Brilliant Song. I still got all the Vinyz 12" of you.. Even Tony (Mansfield) did it all and the Remixes, sounds pretty much like New Musik . Tony,Trevor,Stephen,Phil,Mike,Pete etc. : You made all Times best Music. Thank You for all these brilliant songs..

This was very popular in the Copa in Houston. Dance bars are not what they use to be back in the early 80s.

Rick was a native of Lubbock Texas but claimed Dallas as his hometown....

Typical 80's Euro disco. good track but my favourite are both versions of "Straight ahead". After so many years I listened to this track again and I think it got something of the famous 80's Bobby O productions. I never realy noticed it when I played it in the 80's but it was before Bobby O became famous!

I love this i wish it was avaible on cd the 12 inch disco mix is much better than the 7 inch version i cant find it anywhere on a media or download does anybody know if it is avaible anywhere? thank you!
google videoder & download the app... it searches all video sites & gives you the choice of converting to different formats including MP3.
so get videoder (not available in playstore anymore) it is perfectly safe & ive never had an issue with it. look for my 12in version on videoder & convert it to MP3
