This is a haven for those who love 70s music.
Nearly every song on the channel is from that era although there is some earlier & later stuff too.

Kansas carry on my wayward son live 2009 (HD)
With an orchestra & Proving that old guys can still rock - Kansas play around 100 gigs every year & Walsh may have lost his tight shorts & cut down on the frenzied performance - But boy can he still cut it.

Also on this video is a cameo by Alan Raffertys, car but it was to much of a Diva to be let into the service !

Goodness, what an outfit! I wonder what was wrong with jeans and a T-shirt?
Excellent song, from when I was young. And yet it is.
Great songwriter. Great guy. Great interviewer! Love the new song Whose House Is It Anyway? Thank you.
To much turntablespeed ! Disco4ever! 😂❤
The greatest lyricist surrounded himself with the greatest musicians and created the greatest music ever ... We miss you gerry 😢
agree
Grew up with his music in the 70s as a kid and I know it'll be part of my life till the day I die.. His music reaches parts of the soul no other artist can reach.. If there is an afterlife.. I hope there is a record player.
magnificent
Actually not a million miles away from the way many European players are behaving during Euro 2024.
"it was a friendly stap"
Top Tune!
In the olden days, pre cell, and I traveled for biz....I often felt exactly like this.....just get me home and dry!!!! Under rated song and artist. Thx
Ya Ali his songs are still on my mind During my childhood 😊
As a stubborn Yorkshire git,I adore Gerry say their telling the big shots he dunt give 2 shits about em,hell do it on his terms, like me, only Iv zero talent and it’s cost me a bloody fortune,my pride has stopped me doing a lot of things so we are better as a minority among our people, but when it’s someone who has the chance to conform and compromise to be a star but doesn’t? Gotta love the ability to make that decision, stupid or not it takes a certain person 🇬🇧👍
I wish these types of people still featured on our tele these days,I love listening to Scots, providing it int the bloody snp😜🇬🇧Yorkshire
Int he great
I've always known Baker Street and Stuck In The Middle, but I've only just really discovered Gerry Rafferty through his song Whatever's Written In Your Heart. I love that song and so does my dog - she sings along with me when I sing it to her. I kid you not! What I was going to comment on was the amount of effort that must have gone into his album cover artwork.....man they were incredible, they don't put that kind of effort in anymore, especially for album covers ✌️
His music is pretty good. But what gets me is how most everyone is making excuses for him being an asshole and treating people like shit. He was selfish, pure and simple.
I totally agree there's no excuse for bad manners. If you allow yourself to think your above the people you knew then your fucked
Best song of all time
"Girl mouth technology". That part was hilarious.
Read his biography he was a fascinating character. Renegade Heart by Bryan Cooney
He’s a man of many talents and redeeming qualities. His songs including Baker Street and Right Down the Line were extremely memorable. Two of the most familiar and the most beloved songs I grew up to. I miss these songs so much even though I listened to John Lennon’s Woman later as I grew older including many other childhood favorites. It’s so sad to lose both Gerry Rafferty and John Lennon. May their legacy continue to shine!❤️❤️❤️❤️😭
There is so much more to Gerry than just Baker Street his output was amazing
Wow! This is incredible
RIP Gerry fantastic musician
Gerry Rafferty will always be a hero to me. His music is full of emotion and heart. He hated being in the foreground but he knew that his music will live on for ever.
I didn’t hear any news of him, of his passing, it’s like he just disappeared without warning and all I remember was his songs that I loved as a child.
Love is all I hear from this beautiful man
One of the best, ever 1978 when I was first introduced to this great gentleman His music, changed my life, from day one Miss him very much Genius
Such a cool 😎 track.
Lol 1.13
Thank you
This interview is a joke. This guy is not Gerry Rafferty but just a song thief.
I was hoping to find more interviews
Masterpiece
Gerry was groovy
Just come back from New York. He's right, so good they named it twice. I love it.
Until recently , three weeks ago, only songs I knew were Right Down The Line and Stuck In The Middle. …… Man he was a genius !! I listen to his songs everyday. As soon as I wake up ….. Easy To Talk is playing
❤
Betsy Cook on Hammond Organ. Original backing vocals were her, Barbara Dixon and Linda Thompson. Class or what?
13:53 'You Put Something Better' I sang this song with a pal of mine, Kenny Sloane (deceased), about 40 years ago. When I heard it here again, on this video, it reminded me of those times. Yes, it took me back to a different time, to 'the old days' and I thought; "Jeez, I remember that song, that was a great song" - and it was a good song , it was, in fact, a great song. I'm still gigging today. I use a computer to program my songs, and I still do gigs. I will program this song - You Do Something Better' - and I'll darn-well gig it at my Saturday afternoon gig in Glasgow, every Saturday afternoon, in Glasgow's Star Bar (Eglinton Toll) and I'm pretty-sure our lovely, regular, and not so regular customers will love it. I live in Paisley, not so far from where Gerry is from (just coincidence) and if you want to hear this cracking song again then come along to hear me (and Ronnie) at the gig every Sat afternoon. Incidentally, I'll attribute the song to both Gerry Rafferty and to Joe Egan. Gerry, I never knew you personally, but I reckon I'd have enjoyed a natter with you, absolutely. What a great turn you were, mate.👍 Thanks, Dave Lennon
Gerry was an amazing singer / songwriter and lovely individual.... Somehow it is so right that he had a funeral service in his Catholic Church with a dignified crowd and celebrities to give him the respect he deserved ! Still listening to his songs now more than 45 years later
Whether it's musicians from Wales, England, Scotland or Ireland, they are down to Earth and connected. Substance.
Music 🎶 genius from Paisley Scotland that song is amazing absolutely epic. Baker street will be played a 100 years from Now
So smoooth, so effortless.....
Way him and Billy sound the same plus the humblebums and just pals for life....just love it ❤
In America we don't have any talented funny people this is brilliant

Alcoholism is a disease and sadly it preys on sensitive , talented , intelligent and beautiful souls ! We should show compassion ! Thank you Gerry Rafferty for your wonderful music .
This Legendary Giant in the music will never be forgotten.. in fact is part of my everyday every day.. long live this Man’s Music
