Hello. I have one and it works great, but I had to shelve it. When the temperature changes, the fuel will leak out of the orifice making a big hazardous mess. I don't have the funnel/cork thing that came with it that goes in the coil. Does the cork you use prevent it from leaking out? I'm wondering if I should go with natural cork, or a rubber one as my hardware sells both. Thank you!
If that little hole isn't plugged off it will leak every time I would definitely try the cork I bought a 10 pack for only a few bucks and haven't had a leak since And with the cork it firs in place in the case perfectly Also make sure the gasket on the fill port isn't hardened I usually screw it in hand tight and loosen a tad Never have leaks
@@NLoutside75 Thank you very much. I'm going to have to try that, it's such a neat little stove. I'm trying to fab a stainless steel flame spreader like Steve Winkelman @doinsngoins I hope I can pull it off!
they sure must have had BIG pockets back in the 40s
@@railwaystationmaster haha yes I was thinking the same thing
That's a torch 😃
