1:06:05. I recognized the music almost immediately. Portal 2, Chapter 5: The Escape. Right before the elevator floor falls out from underneath you, after Wheatley's takeover. Edit: I was wrong. It is not Chapter 5: When the elevator falls out from under you. It is Portal 2, but another iconic fall. It's the music that plays in Chapter 1 of the game when reactivating GLaDOS. It plays when she drops you into the incinerator. From 1:24-1:35 on the Portal 2 OST, in song number 11: "You Know Her?". Edit 2: I found another one. 1:07:40-1:07:44 uses 0:10-0:15 of the Portal 2 OST, in song 56. Part of the Cooperative Testing Initiative Introduction Cutscene: "Some Assembly Required".

lastly, is the green plate the ultimate foundation to control everything because it was LEGO's first actual foundation brick they produced? if so that would be awesome
I absolutely love the LOTR trilogy and I screamed when I herd Gandalf and Frodo were in this game.
I didn’t know about the franchise at the time.
Now having read the books, Gandalf is my Favorite character.
This game is basically how people play with legos just every character from everything
They might have just chosen the perfect trio of main characters. With such a massive library of characters it's crazy they got it so right.
I remember this game, it's still amazing as I remember it
This game was my childhood 😔👌
Aged like a fine wine
Well damm, u just made me feel ancient
Same, just replayed it, amazing
I miss playing this game so much as a kid. Seeing all my favorite franchises, particularly the ones from Warner Bros., all jointed and interact with each other, including Sonic The Hedgehog. *THIS* and Super Smash Bros is how you do a crossover! Not those kinds of crossovers where it's always sports, party, or racing games. It can be adventure or fighting games...as it SHOULD be!
Doesn't Lord of the Rings have 2 Foundation Elements (the One Ring and the Palantir)? I'm sure it's supposed to be one per dimension.
Walter Plinge won't they have to by pass Disney for that?
whats the Palantir?
Calamity Cop The sphere object that Sauruman used.
Unless they pass off the hobbit and lord of the rings, but they are the same with a different name
I don't think there's anything saying there's only one foundational element per world
There is a cake! It's not a lie! Hooray!
There reeeeaaallly waass aaa caaaakee
plus, it was one unique to the world pf portal, like the PKE meter is to Ghostbusters, or the Flux capacitor to Back to the Future
Except that via time travelling, there are practically endless Flux capacitors. And the PKE meter is also not unique, standard Ghostbuster equipment actually
But remember, these are different dimensions, so there's no Flux capacitors, PKE meters, Kryptonite, cakes with the Aperture Science recipe, etc in the other ones, thus them being Foundation Elements makes sense.
Exactly
I’d love to see this as a movie franchise or just release some more games
"That's Metalbeard! He's in trouble! ...Or he's happy he uses 'ARR' for a lot of things," ah the nostalgia.
Batman meets the Mystery Gang, not the first time that happens.
Yeah, but this time it's not Adam west voice.
TheDisneyLover58 true
I loved that movie.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that movie
I love how i only watched this because of the portal and doctor who LOL
Shineytrooper i was gonna watch this bc of that too but i also expected adventure time ;-;
I watched it because of Portal *and* Ghostbusters LOL XD
Same
This is like the best fabric ever. Kind of reminds me of the preservers of the plot continuum.
54:30 portal 2,HERE WE COME!!!!
I said the same thing. except I said. "Portal cake? THE CAKE IS A LIE!"
Shall we sing Want you Gone? I'll start:
Well here we are again
@@vanessalopez6535 It's always such a pleasure
Singing Glados, it is a song I must download, no matter the cost!
I can’t believe I played this game six years ago. Time flys
32:47 That one took me a second to get
I just noticed Sauraman in the background
@@anthonynguyen3731 Actually that's Gandalf the White, it was after he defeat a demon and he got reincarnated from Gandalf the Grey to Gandalf the White in "Lord of the Rings The Two Towers"
@@brendan1470 ahh I always thought that it was Sauraman
2:58 I like how they use Teen Titans (Dick Grayson) Robin in this!
It's really cool because usually they use Tim and now Damian but this time it's Dick, so hopefully we get Jason as Robin too one day
Mlg doctor who saves batman, wild style and Gandalf
Lego diemensions is the best game ever! I love the gameplay, the characters, and the story. It’s my favorite game of all time and I’m sad that it gone.
1:13 hey I found a thing! Uh, I mean anomaly located Master.
X-po and his sense of humor is hands down one of the best things in this game 😂😂😂.
@@jadetheslime3140 and he's -NOT A MORON!
Yes, I found it!!
This entire game just feels like a kid playing with their toys in the best way ever
I like how the Doctor becomes a fourth main character simply because he's so useful storywise.
The Doctor is so useful all the time with his extensive knowledge of the universe they can’t make him a main-main character otherwise the story would be other in 45 minutes.
@@jinxyjangle Yep. There's a reason why companions exist and get separated from the Doctor so often.
"Serving another Sauron?" He did serve someone before.
yes, as a half god he served "satan" of lotr lore as a smith
Melkor, right?
Idea for another LEGO crossover game:
You make an avatar, and they end up teaming up, with tons of LEGO series, and entire mythological pantheons.
I’ll put up interaction ideas later on.
It's been 2 years and you never followed up
Aw man, the feels at the end with that portal reference. Damn good way to end the game. :D
Year 2 could've been so epic if they made more story levels
Yeah
Tiny Daleks shouting "EXTERMINATE!" is really adorable
GLaDOS : "why do they always leave me ?"
Also GLaDOS : "Go ahead and leave me, I think I prefer to stay inside"
"I used to want you dead now I only want you gone"
*Tries to electrocute, roast, and fill the first three newest visitors in years with hot turret lead*
I have been very tempted to go on eBay and get physical versions of all the foundation elements. The PKE meter is a problem though, we never get a long enough look at it to figure out what the screen piece is. I can tell the handle is a lightsaber hilt piece and the levers are easy enough to recognize. I'm still working on the Staff of elements too.
Also thought some good alternate foundation elements could have been,
-Jack's Compass = Pirates of the Caribbean
-Skywalker's lightsaber = Star Wars
-Chase McCain's Badge = LEGO City Undercover
-Infinity Gauntlet = Marvel Universe
-A Steering wheel = Speed Racer
Im not even a fan of doctor who and it was by far the best segment in the game!
It's hilarious how the villains introduce themselves and then instantly get beat because the gameplay is cut out
17:41 Did they just predict the future of the Star Wars sequels?
holy crap no way
That’s Sith Rey’s lightsaber!
Batman "The scarecrow! I knew it!" The Doctor "Cybermen!!!"
Gotta love capaldi meets wayne
1:23:13 the best scene (via my vision) glados being friendly (Nani)
Just realized that the Robin sounds exactly like the Teen Titan robin. It's great.
I can't imagine why. 🙄
