akainu's justice is questionable...Rough, extreme and many times just straight up wrong. Generally speaking, The admirals, vice admiras, captains... all of them are better than pirates. WIth the exception of Luffy's crew and maybe a couple more, most pirates are just scum. In navi, things are exactly the opposite. With the exception of sakazuki and maybe a couple more, most navi soldiers are GOOD. Look at aokiji, fujitora, sengoku, garp, smoker.. all of them are GOOD. Smoker even said how corrupted the goverment is for giving credit to the navi for the alabasta-crocodile incident while it was the strawhats who did all the work.. and without Luffy, alabasta would end up being ruled by a pirate like desrossa. And later, even desrossa was liberated by luffy ( again) himself, and made fujitora to speak up against sakazuki and question his "justice". One piece is just way more complicated than " admirals are better than pirates".

People think a dead old WB stomped Akainu but in reality, in the manga Akainu was winning bevause he punched a hole theough WB and punches half f of his face off and also Akainu was holding back because he was afraid that Marineford would be damaged too. We saw in Punk Hazard that he changed the entire landscape
Yet akainu was the one who fell down the pit paralyzed crying:damn you Whitebeard.

I do too. I'm a military child myself.
akainu's justice is questionable...Rough, extreme and many times just straight up wrong.
Generally speaking, The admirals, vice admiras, captains... all of them are better than pirates.
WIth the exception of Luffy's crew and maybe a couple more, most pirates are just scum.
In navi, things are exactly the opposite.
With the exception of sakazuki and maybe a couple more, most navi soldiers are GOOD.
Look at aokiji, fujitora, sengoku, garp, smoker.. all of them are GOOD.
Smoker even said how corrupted the goverment is for giving credit to the navi for the alabasta-crocodile incident while it was the strawhats who did all the work.. and without Luffy, alabasta would end up being ruled by a pirate like desrossa.
And later, even desrossa was liberated by luffy ( again) himself, and made fujitora to speak up against sakazuki and question his "justice".
One piece is just way more complicated than " admirals are better than pirates".
I know they look like more business that the pirates ever did. Like I can't take serious most of pirates in this story. Meanwhile, the most of marines especially the Admirals are so cool and badass.
*I'm wondering if Sengoku could match Whitebeard's attack just like Akainu did at this period in time, or maybe even stronger than Akainu? Sengoku is like the second strongest Marine after Vice Admiral Monkey D. Garp from what I've heard.*
*Pretty sure Sengoku in his Golden Buddha form using a powerful shockwave could match Edward Newgate's attack just as good as Akainu's lava fist.*

Admirals are underrated by the fandom. They think whitebeard or garp 1 shots them which is delusional. Idc how strong you think the previous eras are, they are not one shotting an admiral. Sure you can say they win but one shot them…the navy right now are more powerful than they’ve ever been and the new era will surpass the old era

I get it that they're worned out, but there were other monsters like Garp, and Sengoku. Not to mention, Shanks also stopped Kaido from coming to the war.
