i'm an old skool Robotech aka Macross fanboy. Macross Plus was a work of art, wasn't it from 1995? it was the peak of Anime in Japan, in my opinion. Ghost in the Shell Came Out that year too in the states. ☮️🖖🎶
Seems like 1994 according to IDMB. As a fan - the original story arch which I believe Macross Plus follows ... dont' you find it amazing that Macross/Robotech always brought us actual military technology before public knowledge? Robotech OG / Macross OG ... showed us dual Vector Engines in teh Veritech fighters. Robotech Masters ... showed us laser reteicle targeting (which later shoed up in the USAs Apache AH-14 helecopter by pilots using the helmet opticla reticle) Macross Plus ... showed us FULL AI drones (yet to debut but possibly alread did accoridng to reports 2 weeks ago in Russia's war with Ukraine) and tri-vector engines. The AI drone VERY similarly featured in the movie with Jamie Foxx in 2018 called Stealth!

The intro is at the beginning the outro is at 1:03:00, as nature intended. Some songs evolve into a different beast when properly extended, this is one of them. I remember buying the both CDs for the soundtrack and was puzzled why this was not on either of them...

マクロス★プラスは、DVDで、観ました。僕は、元々戦闘機が、好きだから観ていましたね。プラモデル製作もしています。
フリーハンドのセル画でこの映像だもの。
名作だよ。
恐ろしいような、沈んでしまいそうになる曲。聞いていると不安になってくるがやめられない。作品と相まってグロテスク。だが好き。
心をザワザワさせられて、とにかくカッコいい曲。ひたすら、凄く好き。
ただ、危うさも感じさせる。
聴くたびに、戻れない所へと連れて行かれる感覚になる。
