This is actually quite encouraging. I wouldn't mind owning a Tesla, but I certainly would mind paying Tesla for the privelege, so knowing that some things can be done DIY is nice since it means buying a used Tesla may not be such a bad idea as it used to be.

You might call Tesla’s policy “right to throw away” or something like this. Really sad because there is so much to love about these cars. Repair policy is not of those things. So sad.
not unthinkable. Apple has shown that, until today, it is possible and somewhat legal to lock your hardware, and disable features with software updates. (fingerprint reader or MacBook screens for example)

Not that you were asking for any tips on the fitness/weight loss. Also started back up. Down 8lbs in 2 weeks. Just walking 3-4 miles a day (about 1-1.5hrs a day) and cutting way back on sugar and carbs. Amazing project vid!

That Doug Demuro impresssion was really good..
The lost of fog lights are sad but look on the bright side. There is so many new options today to add what was lost and improve over the old than there was 20yrs ago.
And I would’ve taken the madman route to add those amber lights after ripping the car apart that far.
Red turn signals are so stupid. The only good thing about a full red tail light is if a separate bulb is used for signaling. Go stealth with a good quality yellow led bulb with high luminosity and amber straight through the red lens.
Model 3 parts are really useful to others if you put them up online. Especially the stuff that gets damaged in fender benders.
Hey, Apple watches are great for automotive stuff, I use the remote camera thing so I can see hidden things under engines!
I love the music, it gives me a 80/90s vibe, and specially makes me remember the Ridge Racer Type 4 OST or Beverly Hill's Cop.

You can lift the rear and put the jack on the front. Chasis is stiff enough that when you lift the rear, it will lift the front enough for you to put the jack on

Also, if you plan on doing more of this kind of thing, I'd seriously recommend getting a cheap impact wrench. Just make sure you don't make the same mistake as me and get one with a 3/8 drive instead of a 1/2
