Agreed 👍 I think Ah Xu's death broke Jiangmin's heart at the end, and the fact that he couldn't fulfill his vow to his wife. But I think Xu's death hit him hard. They'd never been apart since youth until now.
I like this Emperor. He has a loving kind heart for his friend (Jianming) and his Wife Tilan. He is so humble toward his only Brother (Jichang), even though he is crazy. 💝

People who complain about Jianming's treatment of Haishi - do you realize his actions brought peace to Dazhang, and helped stop the constant wars in the grasslands? That was why he pushed her away so hard at the beginning - with his responsibilities and position, he literally couldn't put her first, too many people's futures and lives were on the line. He had to consider the bigger picture and do what was best without regard to his personal feelings. And even with that, he managed to protect her and rescue her and be there for her as much as possible, all while undergoing the pain of two people's lifetimes all alone without being able to tell anyone.

William Chang’s eye convey the emotion amazingly intense that i can feel that his is deeply sorry to make her suffer from all these misunderstanding, rejection and griefs. All what she wants is to make he own decisions about her life including to save the one she loves. Fang Jian Ming superb acting shows us that despite what he did to HaiShi, at the end he was the one who gets hurt the most. Fang JianMing & Fang HaiShi best couple ❤️ I’m gonna miss them. Looking forward for their next drama 👑

Master's confession was everything, we were all waiting for it, I truly did feel it and I also shed a tear, but I am too anxious about the fact that his poison is not yet removed. Although master and haishi have plans for future, their future is still uncertain to me cuz of that fact. And their kiss, although it was very brief, it was passionate to me. The way how Emperor said "my lord Qinghai" at 16:37 was everything, their friendship is the best out of all the dramas that I've watched. 39:47 I swear that master's smile makes me smile too and I realised at this point that I wanna see master smiling so bad, he is so gorgeous when he smiles and it makes my day tbh
Oh I'm gonna be SO pissed if Jianming and Haishi don't get at least SOME time together; some time to be happy while the times are peaceful. Just one damn episode of them not worrying about anything else, and able to be with each other.
OMG Feng finally told Haishi he loves her. It's about freaking time. I feel so bad for the Emperor that the only family he has left betrayed him. I told everyone he was a great person. Even though his brother betrayed him he still doesn't want to kill him. I love the scenes between him and Tilan. They are so cute. When she puts her hand on his cheek at 23:20 it looks like he melts into it. He's got to be the most handsome king ever. I love how even though he has no family anymore he wants her to have her family around her. I've watched this once before so don't read anymore if you don't want spoilers. As I said I love how he encourages her to keep her family close. It's just too bad it's what leads to their unhappy ending. If she would have not seen her brother and given him her necklace they probably wouldn't of been killed. Still pissed at the writters for that. Never going to be okay with that ending no matter how much I like the rest of the show. Not sure how I'm going to get through these last few episodes againbut here I go again...I must be a glutton for emotional pain. Its damn near like losing family members watching the Emperor and Tilan die. I saw some spoilers the first time I was watching and almost didn't finish the series because of it. I was mad as hell. My fave characters were wronged.

Master's confession was everything, we were all waiting for it, I truly did feel it and I also shed a tear, but I am too anxious about the fact that his poison is not yet removed. Although master and haishi have plans for future, their future is still uncertain to me cuz of that fact. And their kiss, although it was very brief, it was passionate to me. The way how Emperor said "my lord Qinghai" at 16:37 was everything, their friendship is the best out of all the dramas that I've watched. 39:47 I swear that master's smile makes me smile too and I realised at this point that I wanna see master smiling so bad, he is so gorgeous when he smiles and it makes my day tbh
Oh I'm gonna be SO pissed if Jianming and Haishi don't get at least SOME time together; some time to be happy while the times are peaceful. Just one damn episode of them not worrying about anything else, and able to be with each other.

OMG Feng finally told Haishi he loves her. It's about freaking time. I feel so bad for the Emperor that the only family he has left betrayed him. I told everyone he was a great person. Even though his brother betrayed him he still doesn't want to kill him. I love the scenes between him and Tilan. They are so cute. When she puts her hand on his cheek at 23:20 it looks like he melts into it. He's got to be the most handsome king ever. I love how even though he has no family anymore he wants her to have her family around her. I've watched this once before so don't read anymore if you don't want spoilers. As I said I love how he encourages her to keep her family close. It's just too bad it's what leads to their unhappy ending. If she would have not seen her brother and given him her necklace they probably wouldn't of been killed. Still pissed at the writters for that. Never going to be okay with that ending no matter how much I like the rest of the show. Not sure how I'm going to get through these last few episodes againbut here I go again...I must be a glutton for emotional pain. Its damn near like losing family members watching the Emperor and Tilan die. I saw some spoilers the first time I was watching and almost didn't finish the series because of it. I was mad as hell. My fave characters were wronged.
