Romance aside - I really love the friendships in this drama Jiangming and the emperor Haishi and the consort Sometimes its harder to find a true best friend than a lover
But it's wonderful when you find a best friend in your lover. My late husband and I were that to each other for 52 years. He passed away last year. I am dying without him.

Are there voice actors for William, Yang Mi, and the guy playing the Emperor? The voice of William’s character reminds me so much of the male lead in The Rebel Princess. Maybe a big reason why I like those characters so much. Gentle but fierce men.

Loved episode 46 for showing so much love affection to their loveone. Tilan and emperor Xu are best couple I've seen in love drama which revolves in imperial love. I guess, domineering man is more attractive than one who can be boss around. If only there are more loyal man out in the world like Fang Jianming and emperor Xu 🥰... I would love to meet him 😘.

Mu Deqing's role in this drama is wonderful! He's a great eunuch - so loyal and supportive. I love how excited that emperor was when he finally feels pain again - must be weird after being numb to it all these years. That big smile he gave after Mu Deqing punched him was so genuine. I'm happy for him but he's going to have to get used to feeling pain again, he'll be weak until he gets used to it. I actually prefer Haishi simply dressed, like when she was a man or when she was in mourning, plain with not too much jewelry, hair adornments, or makeup. The emperor and Lord Qinghai are definitely best friends, almost like soulmates. I feel a little bad for the emperor, his right-hand man/ baixi/ most loyal supporter/ best friend and bearer of burdens, is not with him anymore - he must be feeling empty and lost. Jiangming is well off, he owns all those shops, wow! I'm glad that Tilan and her brother have a good relationship and he's a really good guy. And finally, so relieved the mermaid returned to the sea. So much happened this episode, all good.

This was a beautiful love story. Lots of twist and turns, however the cast was amazing. This was indeed brotherly love between the emperor and his friend. I wish the ending had include the blind seamstress who did not get to see the love of her life .kudos to the writers on this one.

OM genius. finally. Jianming and Haishi can be together . There onscreen chemistry is superb. this story is well done, the acting r golden globes. the entire set. hope to see more. still hoping for a happy ending.
Ohhh my gosh!!! I cried and couldn’t stop when he died. But then I got all happy when I found out he was still alive! I had read an earlier comment (episodes ago) that he dies in her arms and I’ve been waiting for that. So, I thought that was the end for him. So glad it wasn’t and they can be together.

Love can really be sweet. See how it transformed jianming. Can anyone let go of his/ her baixi if it really exist and be as happy as the emperor? In this part of the world that I live, if there is anything like baixi, I trust the rich and politicians, that person generation is already in trouble, his life and that if his unborn children will be used in advance!(laughing right now.) I love the fact that haishi and jianming spent the night together like a proper couple though I have a feeling that it won't last long but I'm satisfied that they kissed at least

The ending is fast approaching and I do not want it to end. But, in any series or stories it has an ending either sad or happy. Sometimes the feeling of acceptance is like ( death of me ) and I’m ok with that--🙄I think 🤔. 1. When Jianming’s Baixi got terminated by him as requested by the Emperor. Mu Deqing was asked by the Emperor to punc him on the chest, he threw the first punch like a girl 🤪it was so epic, so hilarious.and delightful @ the same time. 2. The feeling of emptiness of the Emperor because of Jianming’s “Death” as they will see Less each other. The part when his Majesty joined Lord Qinghai in packing all his things. “ Why are you here ? Do you have nothing else to do today? asked Jianming. The Emperor replied, “ I’m in Mourning🤪”. 3. Awesome Lang Huan’s presence brings Hope and Peace to Dasheng. Tilan’s deep sighs is sigh because she will be missing her dear friend, Haishi. She consider Consort Chunrong her confidant, too. Emperor’s talk with her about the departure of her great friend Jianming, “ Something is missing in my heart ❤️”, Tilan’s reply to his Majesty, “ Even though we cannot replace Lord Qinghai, the Baby and I, WILL BE HERE FOR YOU”. The Emperor replied, “ The two of are enough for me”. The confidence and the devotion is overdrive. 4. The face of the Master is becoming more softer, happy & carefree. Haishi’s love and care is obviously showing. I love their interactions between each other. It is such a good chemistry The camera really loves them both. So beautiful 😍. The way the Emperor emote his feelings is so believable and so are the ensemble of this series. Each and everyone had DONE SUCH GREAT JUSTICE FOR-THEIR ROLES. They contributed so much good to this series that is why it is a total success. My enormous sincerest thanks.
Thank God I have watched some spoilers, so I know what to expect in the remaining episodes I will feel sad but not too sad cos I have already gotten use to it

WOW Jianming still remembers all that Youdo did to win Haishi attention. He really was burning with jealousy all that time!!! Thank goodness both Jianming and Haishi are stubborn in love and obsession with each other. Youdo had no choice but to give up the chase

Finally the physician can relax for now. 😂 I’m sure he’s always anxious has to treat Jianming 100x a month because of getting stabbed or poisoned and the emperor freaking out and yelling and threatening him.

Are there voice actors for William, Yang Mi, and the guy playing the Emperor? The voice of William’s character reminds me so much of the male lead in The Rebel Princess. Maybe a big reason why I like those characters so much. Gentle but fierce men.

@@1Mhoram9 I know that Yang Mi's voice wasn't dubbed - not sure about William - it sounds like the same voice as other roles I've seen him in though. I love his voice.- deep and gentle and warm, kind of husky. Very sexy.

Mu Deqing's role in this drama is wonderful! He's a great eunuch - so loyal and supportive. I love how excited that emperor was when he finally feels pain again - must be weird after being numb to it all these years. That big smile he gave after Mu Deqing punched him was so genuine. I'm happy for him but he's going to have to get used to feeling pain again, he'll be weak until he gets used to it. I actually prefer Haishi simply dressed, like when she was a man or when she was in mourning, plain with not too much jewelry, hair adornments, or makeup. The emperor and Lord Qinghai are definitely best friends, almost like soulmates. I feel a little bad for the emperor, his right-hand man/ baixi/ most loyal supporter/ best friend and bearer of burdens, is not with him anymore - he must be feeling empty and lost. Jiangming is well off, he owns all those shops, wow! I'm glad that Tilan and her brother have a good relationship and he's a really good guy. And finally, so relieved the mermaid returned to the sea. So much happened this episode, all good.
Couples had to say goodbye that hurt 😭 I still don't trust that brother of hers 🤔 These actors are extremely good and hope they can work together again 😍

The ending is fast approaching and I do not want it to end. But, in any series or stories it has an ending either sad or happy. Sometimes the feeling of acceptance is like ( death of me ) and I’m ok with that--🙄I think 🤔.
1. When Jianming’s Baixi got terminated by him as requested by the Emperor. Mu Deqing was asked by the Emperor to punc him on the chest, he threw the first punch like a girl 🤪it was so epic, so hilarious.and delightful @ the same time.
2. The feeling of emptiness of the Emperor because of Jianming’s “Death” as they will see Less each other. The part when his Majesty joined
Lord Qinghai in packing all his things. “ Why are you here ? Do you have nothing else to do today? asked Jianming. The Emperor replied, “ I’m in Mourning🤪”.
3. Awesome Lang Huan’s presence brings Hope and Peace to Dasheng.
Tilan’s deep sighs is sigh because she will be missing her dear friend, Haishi. She consider Consort Chunrong her confidant, too. Emperor’s talk with her about the departure of her great friend Jianming, “ Something is missing in my heart ❤️”, Tilan’s reply to his Majesty, “ Even though we cannot replace Lord Qinghai, the Baby and I, WILL BE HERE FOR YOU”. The Emperor replied, “ The two of are enough for me”. The confidence and the devotion is overdrive.
4. The face of the Master is becoming more softer, happy & carefree. Haishi’s love and care is obviously showing. I love their interactions between each other. It is such a good chemistry The camera really loves them both. So beautiful 😍.
The way the Emperor emote his feelings is so believable and so are the ensemble of this series. Each and everyone had DONE SUCH GREAT JUSTICE FOR-THEIR ROLES. They contributed so much good to this series that is why it is a total success.
