Vehicles getting cut is devastating, there are soo many biomes where it just a walking simulator for 20 minutes and vehicles would perfectly solve that problem.... Massive L if that is true, keeping hopes up that they might come in the future.
I played vehicles months ago, there is a MG type of vehicle. We went down hill at like 5 MPH, hit a rock, flipped over and died in flames. The vehicles would hurt the community rather than help it.
Cutting vehicles wouldn't make any sense right now with a new skin system for vehicles just getting rolled out, files being so close to completion, and the models being strewn around the maps constantly. It would be a huge mistake to cut them
Some leakers actively used the vehicles that are still in early, unfinished builds. They operate as they should, but they still have model strips, meshes, and other things still visible that shouldn't be actively apparent on full release. Too much progress made just to delete it would be a terrible waste of time and resources.
Most of this is obviously just cut content. This dude's just farming for clicks. There's been TONS of stuff data mined,the developers themselves said a lot of it was just from the beginning stages. Loot rarity is one of them
Eh... if they do it right I could see it being okay imo. Pricing is a delicate subject in this topic and if its too cheap it won't feel like you worked for it, if its too expensive it simply will not be utilized and players might leave thinking HD2 is becoming the next MW 3 (reboot) which is an honest content creator's nightmare these days. If it is used for cosmetics like armour sets you can apply armour passives to would be awesome, though those WILL HAVE to be more expensive than the sets already available in the superstore for obvious reasons.
Don't guy why the clan stratagems can't be requisition slips. They're pretty useless once you have everything and they cap at 50k. Would be nice to have other uses for them.

It's an important part of the original game and some of them were already in HD2 at some point, so it wouldn't make sense to get rid of them completely. Most probably, they're just off the main servers, but still planned to be released in the future.
Surely using requisition slips for powerful, 1 time use stratagems would make more sense? Seeing as that’s what was used to get them in the first place.
I doubt the vehicles were cut, possibly took out of the files somehow? From the look of it they looked partially finished, at least the buggy did. They probably put in quite a bit of work so I doubt they would just scrap it.
They're temporarily cut, as the engine couldn't handle having more than 2 vehicles, etc. I cant exactly remember what the leaker said, but something about that.

Using Super Credits for things other than buying warbonds and armor sets is a bad idea, in my opinion. The currency is in a good spot right now, the other types do need some more uses, though. If clan strategems become a thing, it should be something that the clan unlocks by doing missions, like all of the other strategems. Also, if they truly did cut out the vehicles, that's a big mistake and missed opportunity. Edit: Additionally, I really want melee weapons. The throwing knife should have a stab animation that lets you one shot scavengers, then we could have a sabre secondary for a bit more reach and light armor damage. Then they could have a WW1-esque shovel that's slower, but with medium armor penetration, and finally a bomb spear that does heavy armor penetration, but hurts the wielder and is limited in the number of uses. Maybe a backpack containing 5 of these boomsticks? We're meant to feel expendable, so this would fit thematically.

Think the armor rarity, weapon, and season stuff may have been old prototypes for monetization before deciding on warbonds. Just doesn't make sense to have 2 separate paid unlock systems in one game. Those screenshots have been around for awhile and Arrowhead has stated there's a lot of stuff buried in there from when they were still conceptualizing things and the UI is completely different from what it is now. With how much positivity they've gotten with the current monetization being the least greedy model of anything modern and all the backlash they've got from the Sony ordeal and balancing problems, backtracking on that would be outright suicide for the game so I hope that it just stays an old concept. Vehicles getting deleted might be them just removing it from the public game files to do more work on them before a full release and to stop people from modding unfinished stuff into the game. Leaks have become a lot more sparse compared to when the game first came out so I think they're actively trying to hide some things from the miners now to keep people suprised.

The super grainy UI and armour pieces, the sword with a weird shape (if it was just for conceptual they could have used a t shape or other easier renderable base) The most egregious is purchasing weapons with super credits and then shows the Scythe. If they did this for old weapons it would be a programming nightmare because they'd have to uproot the entire Warbond design of the game. If they did this for new weapons it would have two jarring systems. If they did it for SKINS, again same as before. This all just rings as REALLY out of left field Edit: Checked the Discord myself, the notification of "vehicles are cut guys" was on June 23rd. On June 24th 76Jinx was back to referring to the APC (and Exosuits) are vehicles we'll see when answering questions about an "Exoframe". As of June 25th another user said vehicles are back in the files, with 76Jinx going to double-check on that again and then never returns on the subject... so my skepticism grows
i just want the illuminate to come, im very excited to see a new enemy type. a lot of people say "grrr you don't know what the illuminate are like you've been fighting mindless robots blah blah!!!" that's the point, i want something that makes me scared to turn around, or makes me feel as if i'm being watched, i cannot be happier
They gotta buff super credits spawn. Rn the most effective way to gain super credits quickly is to jump on a trivial mission and get the POIs hoping they spawn in the crates. Hope they don't make weapons a super credits-purchaseable, because that will only further incentivize that playstyle.

That’s the worst possible way to get what you want. You want to build resentment and foster strife? If something gets cut, it’s because AH doesn’t want to fall victim to Sunk Cost Fallacy over something that isn’t working. If vehicles aren’t working in their engine (remember, that engine lost all support and AH has to work around it), they shouldn’t waste time on it. The majority of the vocal community already asked for fewer content releases in favor of more bug/crash fixes.
Allow me to remind all of you, that we won battle of Malevelon Creek not because we had carpet bombing, we turned whole planet into a black hole not because we had tanks and APCs, but because we had true heroes among our ranks, people who was ready to die for Democracy (and some of them died, may their names be remembered forever). Armor rarity seems weird. Especially since there's no loot system in the game. If they put it in a warbond or the super store, that wouldn't make it rare, since you could just buy it. Idk, just my thoughts.
Nahh if they cut vehicles im out, that's what i am looking for since I heared they are in the game files. Cutting them would be a big mistake and i think they would loose even more players, since the concept of liberating the same few planets over and over again isn't gonna keep especially veteran players entertained.

That is a precarious position. On one hand it is nice for things to be bought with all the credits we have and other resources that are currently maxed out. But at the same time I hope they don't screw up what they already have going well just to have it go the Live service classic route.
Have patience helldivers, better to have a good functioning vehicle if it takes a while. Rather than having one now but it's a glitchy unbalanced mess. There's no way they will cut vehicles.
I wouldn't be too surprised if they do cut some vehicles, as the APC and Buggy seem a little too slow and useless against Automatons. On the other side, they might be just fast enough to outrun the Terminids too often. I feel like they would just make things a little awkward on both fronts.

While I am kinda sad that about vehicles getting scrapped, I can see why. The exosuits are the only vehicles we have right now and they already can get stuck on certain terrains sometimes, with the buggy and the armored truck being most likely faster I can imagine a scenario where just using it could result in either a lot of collision glitches or/and getting stuck every 10 seconds because of how the terrain is which in the end would make both vehicles just painfully annoying to use and a waste of requisition slips
Might as well milk it while they can. They know their time is limited. I called it after the last warbond/update happened. If things don’t drastically change it’ll see 25k players soon
Even the diminutive Tau race from 40k carry little katana like swords with them to battle. They look cool even though I’m sure their butter knives don’t save them often.

Very sad if the vehicles truly did get cut, with the introduction of autom gunships, I was hoping somewhere far down the line we could get a repurposed gunship, one use per mission, quite slow so its not the best for maneuverability, but maybe with a laser repeater that has unlimited ammo but overheats quickly, and rockets with 25-50 shots that could be tap fired to let off a single rocket, or fired is 5 round salvos, essentially slow moving but unmatched firepower, basically an air mech... but a man can still dream :(
they really shouldn't be cutting vehicles due to the fact that eventually we will be fighting a war on three fronts we need everything we can get to help so it won't make much sense except the rover cuz that one would have been tied to an escort mission and games with escort mission haven't usually had the best wrap over the years.....if your the type of person that doesn't wanna use it then just don't bring it and if your gonna kick ppl for using it then your more of a problem then the bugs and the bots hell i even say your worse then Sony then selves........... let the ppl go vroom vroom
I think using super credits to buy weapons isn't actually too bad of an idea. I got most of the warbonds just to get a certain weapon I wanted. Spending around 200 super credits to get that weapon instead of 1000 for the whole warbond and grinding out to get that weapon could allow players to buy warbonds they actually want while still getting the good weapons. (btw, this comes from someone that hasnt spent a dime on the game other than the original price tag, I farm all of my super credits)
What I would like to respond at the ship when we are killed instead of waiting to be revive that way we can drop on the part of the map were you were killed that way you can you grab your stuff and samples and get out of there fast.
The game feels like it’s still in beta… lack of any meaningful progression or systems makes it feel pointless after unlocking every stratagem, ship upgrade, and all the stuff from the warbonds, + a couple extras from the super store. All stratagems are unlocked at lv 25? And the only two you get at 25 are the exosuits which are fun for like 2 games before going back to the more reasonable ones. You can’t even use stratagems or anything when you’re in them. Which you could do in helldivers 1. Seems half baked. Super buggy too Edit: the only thing that kind of saves them is the $40 price. But if it’s a live service game then that doesn’t really make that price all that long term. Yes you can earn super credits and not pay but yeah. I’d rather pay $70 and extra for a fully flushed out experience rather than whatever the heck we got

On top of that he wants to lie and say this game was made to be built little by little. It’s an unfinished game lol. They’re making the game less fun with each patch, and they don’t want to add a campaign? This game desperately needs a campaign and a multiplayer mode. There's no way the code could handle vehicles right now anyway. Any small disruption in balances seem to cause tons of crashes

Nahh if they cut vehicles im out, that's what i am looking for since I heared they are in the game files. Cutting them would be a big mistake and i think they would loose even more players, since the concept of liberating the same few planets over and over again isn't gonna keep especially veteran players entertained.

That is a precarious position. On one hand it is nice for things to be bought with all the credits we have and other resources that are currently maxed out. But at the same time I hope they don't screw up what they already have going well just to have it go the Live service classic route.
Have patience helldivers, better to have a good functioning vehicle if it takes a while. Rather than having one now but it's a glitchy unbalanced mess.

I wouldn't be too surprised if they do cut some vehicles, as the APC and Buggy seem a little too slow and useless against Automatons. On the other side, they might be just fast enough to outrun the Terminids too often. I feel like they would just make things a little awkward on both fronts.
If they make using the super credits to purchase things other than war bonds and armor in the store a thing, I’m gonna uninstall immediately

Lol, If It isnt any favorable update on vehichles like the Buggy or Rover, i Will probably drop the game, helldivers cold even add some Space Beatles and the Studio still strugling tô work with this engine
While I am kinda sad that about vehicles getting scrapped, I can see why. The exosuits are the only vehicles we have right now and they already can get stuck on certain terrains sometimes, with the buggy and the armored truck being most likely faster I can imagine a scenario where just using it could result in either a lot of collision glitches or/and getting stuck every 10 seconds because of how the terrain is which in the end would make both vehicles just painfully annoying to use and a waste of requisition slips

We had an awesome hype and run but feel like this game is done for now. We get the full game a year or two later.

Very sad if the vehicles truly did get cut, with the introduction of autom gunships, I was hoping somewhere far down the line we could get a repurposed gunship, one use per mission, quite slow so its not the best for maneuverability, but maybe with a laser repeater that has unlimited ammo but overheats quickly, and rockets with 25-50 shots that could be tap fired to let off a single rocket, or fired is 5 round salvos, essentially slow moving but unmatched firepower, basically an air mech... but a man can still dream :(

Sabres were not in the first game. Some weapons could be upgraded to have a bayonet but no outright melee weapons.

they really shouldn't be cutting vehicles due to the fact that eventually we will be fighting a war on three fronts we need everything we can get to help so it won't make much sense except the rover cuz that one would have been tied to an escort mission and games with escort mission haven't usually had the best wrap over the years.....if your the type of person that doesn't wanna use it then just don't bring it and if your gonna kick ppl for using it then your more of a problem then the bugs and the bots hell i even say your worse then Sony then selves........... let the ppl go vroom vroom

I think using super credits to buy weapons isn't actually too bad of an idea. I got most of the warbonds just to get a certain weapon I wanted. Spending around 200 super credits to get that weapon instead of 1000 for the whole warbond and grinding out to get that weapon could allow players to buy warbonds they actually want while still getting the good weapons. (btw, this comes from someone that hasnt spent a dime on the game other than the original price tag, I farm all of my super credits)

What I would like to respond at the ship when we are killed instead of waiting to be revive that way we can drop on the part of the map were you were killed that way you can you grab your stuff and samples and get out of there fast.
The game feels like it’s still in beta… lack of any meaningful progression or systems makes it feel pointless after unlocking every stratagem, ship upgrade, and all the stuff from the warbonds, + a couple extras from the super store. All stratagems are unlocked at lv 25? And the only two you get at 25 are the exosuits which are fun for like 2 games before going back to the more reasonable ones. You can’t even use stratagems or anything when you’re in them. Which you could do in helldivers 1. Seems half baked. Super buggy too
Edit: the only thing that kind of saves them is the $40 price. But if it’s a live service game then that doesn’t really make that price all that long term. Yes you can earn super credits and not pay but yeah. I’d rather pay $70 and extra for a fully flushed out experience rather than whatever the heck we got

They’re making the game less fun with each patch, and they don’t want to add a campaign? This game desperately needs a campaign and a multiplayer mode. Sure keep this for whoever wants to do coop but we need more. I stopped playing this and I’m having so much fun playing single player games lol
