You don’t have to be at the park to book your first regular lighting lane, you can be off property and book at 7am, but if you are staying on park property you can book an individual lighting lane at 7am, but if your staying off property you can’t book until the park opens.

Just a few corrections on genie plus... all guests can book their first Genie plus attraction at 7am. Resort guests can get their first ILL at 7am. All other guests can get their ILL at whatever time park opens. Your second genie plus lightning lane can be booked at either 2 hours after park open, or when you check in to your current lightning lane.
