    FYI:
    To skip songs from usb play, just keep pushed volume button for 2 seconds (+ for forward, - for back). To pause or play, push BT button while playing.
    About the charging status, the led is green if fully charged, blinking red for battery low and static red for charging.
    Last firmware removed the 10 mins auto turn off limit.
    Hope this could be useful...
    PS:
    Just found this on creative manual online, but i suppose was also written in the paper one ;)

    I have these speakers my self and I'm telling you right now they are amazing. The bass on these things are crazy and if you crank these things to max volume you could probably hear it a mile away. One thing however is the annoying bright light when turned on which is really annoying if your going to be having this on your desk most of the time.

    Great review, i am about to probably go tomorrow to my local PC shop and get this exact speaker. My question is, are you still using your speaker? How is the battery life after couple of years? @DaveWestMedia  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For general listening it gets a solid 8, but don't buy this if you like to really push the volume, it's not that kind of speaker. Best bet would be a Soundcore speaker for loud music. They have better amps and stronger speaker drivers 👍

    I bought this for my desktop today and it sounds great with the 3.5 mil cable but when using blutooth, it goes very quiet even with the speaker turned up and the PC volume turned up. Everytime I turn up the speaker with the volume button on the side and then try to do the same with the PC volume, the speaker goes really quiet and you can harldy hear anything even with the PC volume at 50%. This does not happen with the 3.5 aux in.

      I assume you have Windows 10 in this reply. When you open the sound icon in the lower right corner of your screen you will only see one speakers volume. You might be changing the volume for another speaker than the bluetooth connection. You can see your other speakers by clicking the arrow up button on the right side of the volume slider menu. If you see your bluetooth speaker there, try raising the volume. Good luck!

I have connected it via bluetooth and works ok, however, it is making a weird clicking/popping noise when something audio is about to start and when i pause the music for exaple it is making another little beep noise and about 3-4 seconds after that the popping noise it stops. Is that normal? Because i tested another soundbar in the BT connection i did not notice that issue.

    I just bought this speaker for my new computer set up and I can't seem to figure out how to make it work properly? Really hopiong someone here has an idea or feedback to make this work as I can't return this speaker, but so far using my monitor speakers or headset is vastly better quality/ I don't really know how to describe it, but either it's damaged, or somehow I'm doing something wrong but it makes an annoying static crackling noise whenever it's being used to play anything. When I have the speaker turned on, it doesn't work unless plugged in to my audio out port on my desktop, even if I select it as the device to use for sound (maybe I'm just not properly pushing the buttons? But I've had it say it's calibrating so idk) instead of the speakers on my monitor. Once it's plugged in, however, without fail, it will constantly make a low static humming noise that totally ruins the audio quality and was definitely not present in your video, so I know it's not as it should be. Is there like a special way to set it up to make it work, or should I assume the one I bought is just broken and trash worthy? I literally just bought and set up a brand new computer and everything, so I am quite sad that my speakers don't work...or work but with a constant background static and humming and crackling, which is notably worse when not playing audio, so I unplug it when I'm done watching something, but it'd be nice for it to not have that at all. Help plz T.T

I've got one of those and without the sub it's fine for speech driven content but falls short slightly without the sub. Switch on the sub and it's very good indeed for the price!

Like is the light going away?

    • @DaveWestMedia
      @DaveWestMedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, the light will go off when it's finished charging. In regards to the static, bear in mind this is made predominantly of plastic so it may be picking up electrical interference from other devices around you. Try it in another area of the house where there's no interference and this should give you an idea if it's the speaker itself or something else causing the issue 👍

    • @DaveWestMedia
      @DaveWestMedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, as a general rule for good battery housekeeping - I would leave it expel itself a few times a week to ensure the battery cells don't expand from over charging. The internal circuitry will stop drawing power once full, but obviously there will be a point where the battery dips below 100% for a short period and begin recharging.
      I would imagine the battery is easy to replace but best to follow the above to ensure the speaker and battery last as long as possible 👍

      Still going well! If you use over Bluetooth there is some latency, but I'm using mine via the 3.5mm aux cable and it's perfect 👍

    Hi Dave, what is the full charge time......is there any indication for this?

    • @DaveWestMedia
      @DaveWestMedia  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Takes around an hour when the battery is fully expelled - the LED light turns green once it's fully charged. It's not a big battery so doesn't take too long. You can also charge while playing as well 👍

    How does it compare to the creative T40 ii? Im thinking of getting this to replace them as im running out of room for them on my desk with all the screens!

    • @DaveWestMedia
      @DaveWestMedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The T40ii have better stereo separation as they're standalone, and I find the bass on those to a bit tighter and better controlled - but you really can't go wrong with this. The Creative Stage is also a very good option as that comes with a separate subwoofer 👍

  • @stefanospapoutsis9506
    @stefanospapoutsis9506 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    does it have clear stereo amplification?

    • @DaveWestMedia
      @DaveWestMedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It has 5w per channel output and as it's wider than most portable speakers, the stereo effect is very good. It's more than capable of filling a small to medium sized room with sound 👍

    • @DaveWestMedia
      @DaveWestMedia  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Flip 4 has better bass and is more portable. They're slightly different products in the fact that the Flip 4 is a kind of use anywhere speaker, whereas this is primarily for use as a desk speaker or for a small room TV 👍
      The Creative has a more open sound with better stereo separation.
