In the fashion school I graduated from we had an assignment to design a collection for people with a chosen disability. We had to study the problem they are facing while looking for clothes and how to solve it. The goal was to make them feel and look confident and amazing. Unfortunately we did not have to make the project physically so there was no pattern-making challenge in this assignment that could lead us to better conclusions. However some of us had made graduate collections for disabled and most probably they knew someone with the given disability who could evaluate the work.

Plain and simple little people are not disabled because they are short. And this is coming from a little person. Sounds like that's how she was brought up to believe hopefully she will realize that in future. But she should not talk for any of us.

At least comments are not turned off. I wouldn’t say she’s disabled . Being short is just being short

Disability is a bit vague word when it comes to designing clothing. There are over 200 different types of dwarfism alone with many different body shapes and many other types of disabilities have body shapes that are difficult to buy clothing for as well like Down's Syndrome for example. Should a clothing focus on one body type in particular or leave room for alterations?
