I really enjoy your channel. I'm slowly getting back to painting watercolors and your videos are great motivation for me. My Mom signed me up for watercolor classes at the local museum in Springfield Massachusetts back in the 70s, I was 12 or 13. I walked through the museum when my Mom dropped me off. I had to go to a classroom in the basement in the early afternoon. The museum was dark and no one was around except for display cases of Samurai armor and scowling masks. I get to the room and all I see is "old" people! The instructor, a very nice man, looks at me and asks me if I was lost, lol. It was a great class and everyone enjoyed supporting each other. During the past year I began photographing locations in my area, lots of farms and barns in the 5 college area. Hopefully I can share some of my work with you soon.
I have painted along with on this wreath 6 times. Even though I trace around a 6” plate for a guide one of my wreaths got way out of round. I almost gave up on it. But I stuck with it following your instructions on creating balance. When I look at the finished wreath I no longer see it being out of round. With each wreath I see improvement and I am gaining more confidence with my painting. Glad stuck I with them all when I saw stuff I didn’t like because following your instructions all of them aren’t half bad. Just took up watercolor painting earlier this year. Try to paint several times a week, an hour and a half most of the time. I plan to move on to your flower video you did recently. But I’m still thinking about having another go with the wreath.
So relaxing watching you paint this beautiful wreath. I’ve loved it from start to finish, especially the way you are not rushing through it. As you said, it’s a great way to practice all aspects of flowers and leaves. It will definitely be my next project. Thanks for inspiring us once again Jenna.
It's 4am... my usual painting time, but this is so big & beautiful... I just thought I'd like to see utube wreaths! Course I went to the biggest, brightest and beautiful one! I love this. It's relaxing to watch you paint. I can't wait to try it. Is there a special way you keep your brushes to look and act almost new? My brush #6 just doesn't have that point anymore.

While I really enjoy using this paper for most projects, I was wondering if there is another paper you can recommend that is not as textured with a smoother surface? Thank you!
I'm confused how you do a dark colour leaf, and then the same colour but a light wash straight after. Do you have a light wash of, say, sap green on your palette, and use sap green straight from the pan for the dark one, or do you have concentrated sap green on your palette and a light wash of the same on your palette, oooorrr do you use concentrated sap green, then wash your brush and the light wash is just residual from the brush-washing? Or something else? Sorry for the ramble. I don't understand how you're getting different values so fast! Mine leaves are all ending up the same concentration. Thanks!

Just a little more insight on this... I’m sure you realize these videos take hours and hours to make, so we have a monetized channel w ads to receive compensation (it’s not much, but certainly helps off-set the work hours). Videos do well on TH-cam when people not only click on your video, but stay and watch for a long time. When that happens, TH-cam promotes your vids to more people. If I stacked all the ads up front, my guess is most people would get very annoyed and would leave early, and as a result, YT wouldn’t promote my vids. If I stacked them in the back, very few would stick around to interact w the ads (which is the only way you actually receive compensation). There’s more to all of this, but that’s the gist of why my vids have the ads, and why they aren’t stacked on the front or back. I hope that gives a little clarity, I hope you understand where I am coming from. Take care and I hope you continue to enjoy my tutorials. ❤️

Love your videos, but is there any way to put ads at either the beginning or end? Having ads every few minutes is very disruptive to the flow.
