You have opened my eyes in so many directions Jenna!. The way you emphasized the direction the petals must all begin at the center of the bloom depending on how you are viewing said bloom. The separation of the white space in order to give the fluffy appearance. The importance of the values for appearance of distance. But Jenna, most of all, listening to your voice as it connects to your brush stokes and the beautiful background music soothes my PTSD. Off to Peony land I go!!

My best part was the intro and favourite was perspective of the peonies and how relaxed you are at painting which gives a calming effect to me and other viewers 😊❤️

Emma Jane same that intro was everything! And yeah I didn’t realize how the different perspective of a peony can totally change the shape that you need to paint

I always love your videos, best part is how you break down the anatomy of the peony explaining the bulb view v the cone view depending which angle you’re looking at the flower from...
But let’s be honest 😂 the BEST BEST bestest part of the video is John’s surprise at your intro “Strap on ya boots!” 🤩😂😅😂🤣😂😅 👢 💕

Hahahaha, that intro was ridiculous! John's reaction: classic. Ha!

    Hi Jenna,
I have most of your books and ❤️ them.
I love all of your work from hand lettering to this Peony tutorial, this is a completely different way to paint them for me.
But my most favorite part of this video is you when you say
“SHTRAP ON YUR BOOTS AND GET READY”!!! You guys laughing makes me laugh. Thank you for sharing your talents.

Super late to this viewing party but enjoying a cabin on a lake with no phone or internet was just as relaxing as watching this video! Holy relaxing music Batman! Dang, props to your Huz for that editing, music placement magic!
Beautiful tutorial and also hilarious. Thank you for being real. You're such an incredible role model and a strong woman and mom! Lastly, I totally feel those goofy moments of yours (and thanks for the giggles). My son didn't sleep through the night until he was 4, I was always a bit slap happy from lack of sleep (who am I kidding I still am). Sending a cheesehead mama fist bump your way! Cheesehead because I'm cheesy, nerdy, and also reside in WI.

Wow! Love it! I love all your videos. I always learn a lot. My favorite part of this video is being able to watch how you create a beautiful painting from the choosing the colors for the flowers and how you lay them out and all the little tips for that and the way you finesse each petal or leaf with the paint and the way you add and blend your colors... just love it! Just watching your brush move is a learning experience. 💕🌸😊 Thank you! Would love to win your painting! 😍

Composition can be a tad tricky, but the more you put leaves on paper, the more it'll feel natural!

Jenna! I love your videos. I have learned so much from you. My favorite parts are...your natural way of being for starters. You make me feel relaxed with your style of instruction. As well as the way you demonstrated to us the different styles of creating one particular flower, and leaf. Each lesson I watch , I realize how less is more in terms of how much paint and water I need to put to paper in order to make an image pop. Thank you so much for your expertise and quality approach to watercoloring.

Strap on you boots and get ready!!! Your peony painting is gorgeous, Jenna! I love your loose approach-so fresh and light and layered. We grow peonies in our garden here in Iowa, they are so lush and fabulous. I love it that your nails match your floral, Jenna! Fabulous tutorial.
