"Looks fake"... Yeah, because when you are getting bombed by Bas Ruttens palmstrikes it's obvious the guy is like; "Hope I can sell this properly" right before he gets demolished by that knee.
I think it's clear why they didn't use the classic UFC KOs, because they're super strict about copyright claims. Especially compared to the other big organizations like Bellator, One, Rizin, that recognize allowing clips on youtube helps them grow.
I think showing them the emotional side of mma would have been a better video. Like coaches reaction to their fighters winning or losing. Fighters families reacting to the fights or like Leon calling his mom after losing the majority of the fight to make a rocky moment comeback against the p4p best in the world. Or Brandon Moreno winning the belt. I think the girls not knowing a lot of mma hinders the video but connecting to them in that sense would have made them appreciate the video. Great try though guys!!! Keep the videos coming

Yeah this is definitely the route they should go but mostly they just get people➡️put a camera on them ➡️hit record. They don't really have an end goal in mind it's just reactions slapped together. Kinda basic. IMO.

The only fights my gf has ever even shown a minuscule amount of interest in, have all been fights where she was somehow invested emotionally in. The other react videos have been pretty fire though. That psychology one I thought was a very interesting one.

I think I agree with everyone in the comments. This weren't the best KOs to show. I also think you should have react videos to submissions and strike combos. Really show all of the aspects of mma. Maybe even just show one fight that was really good that displayed the mixing of the martial arts.

Atleast they showed a pancrase fight. I love rutten vs Funaki 2. When bas sprawls then stood over top of him and smashed his nose was stupidly brutal. Funaki did have a heart of a lion in that fight.

I also thought that... but, in fairness I do think a lot of the fan base think that weight class for weight class, there are women in each of their weightclasses that could match up well with this men's divisions. Just NOT THE ENTIRE division. Men's divisions are way deeper from Champion to Unranked, but Women's divisions have talent from Champion to at least Rank 3.

There's about 3 women who are half decent and that's about it. Talent pool is extremely shallow. WMMA is completely carried by MMA. If it were a separate league nobody would watch that garbage

There is no other sport where women are as highly regarded as men. Women are commonly the main event of a full fight card. I know lots of people who have been to WNBA games... all of them went with free tickets someone gave them.
I wondered the same, its one of the very few sports where its fun to watch women compete & don't forget gymnastics!
