Hey Carl hope you doing well buddy. Just wanted to ask. When in play mode (play/mute tracks) if you press the play/rec pedal in that mode can you record? Or you can only strictly record when you’re in record mode? Cheers 👍
@ Thanks man 👍. He must have a custom setting on his Chewie Monster 2 live rigg that didn’t transfer to the looper x as in a song Happier he records a drum loop in play mode. Also if you record in record mode and don’t hit play to turn off record before switching to play mode the track must automatically go into play mode. Some user friendly things he must of programmed to keep it simple 🤙
@@carlwockner actually it's still available in my country for a less price compared to sheeran looper.....should I go for it? or sav penny for sheeran looper if it has something really massive than headrush one. also what in ear do u use? currently i'm working on RC 300 it's not great with the audio quality but gets the job done for now.
@@uTuber561 totally up to you mate. Both are fantastic loopers. I prefer the workflow of the Headrush, but since they are discontinued there are no future updates. The Sheeran X is a great board, but I cant use it with my flow properly until a future update comes out. Tough call. I use Alclair audio IEMS with a Shure PSM 300 wireless setup
Come on Carl, when is the update coming, you got an inside scoop? 😉🤣
@@brensocial I wish I had any info for you mate. I’m just patiently waiting here too.
@@carlwockner My patience is certainly being tested lol
About time, Carl! Glad you're starting to release a series of videos about the X. Fantastic unit
Does it have a serial mode like the Boomerang? For verse, bridge, chorus etc
@@HarmonyWithHunter bunch of modes, different length and song modes for that kinda thing🤙🏼

but u use headrush looper ...how much is it different from that??
was planning to buy headrush but what advantages this sheeran looper has over it?
Headrush is discontinued, Sheeran X as MUCH better footswitches. One the new firmware comes out Ill most likely upgrade:)

This looks super bulky for a looper in 2024!!
it is but very sturdy, and the screen and IO is pretty fantastic:)
