    Thank you so much, Just letting you know, I along with many others, would pay $200 for this template easy. You have the V3 at $30 but its way too cheap. To get this quality at a studio it would be $500 minimum. The quality, the simplicity, and the broad range of uses.
    I have been trying, researching, and struggling to find "that quality of sound" for so long. A few things you did that I never learned fixed that for me. Seriously thank you my guy. Good luck

    First of all, I'm new to logic pro and I've learned sooo much from your tutorials. You are now my go to for all things logic pro. Question: Why didn't you create a bus channel for your reverb and delay? I'm going to do a playback but I wasn't clear.

    • @SeanDivine
      @SeanDivine  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      glad to hear it Brian! bus processing and sends tend to cause more latency, hence why we put them as inserts here for the tracking process. otherwise, I would use bussing in most cases 👍

    Thanks Sean! Is it fine if you are clipping on stereo out when recording? I noticed that you were clipping when recording a couple takes at 14:22 because of upping the digital gain.

    • @SeanDivine
      @SeanDivine  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yep! It was just clipping on the stereo output, not the input channel. You definitely don’t want to clip the mic input. The stereo bus is a different story - with floating point processing, you have essentially infinite headroom in the DAW - th-cam.com/video/D3LhWEFiICI/w-d-xo.html

    Awesome, thanks! I was surprised that you didn't have to activate the I button (input button) to actually hear your effects from Logic? How can we do that?
    And there is an additional problem that when I have the I-button activated and I copy the track, the previous origin track will have the I-button still activated and Logic starts to make distorted noises... Do you know about that issue?

    • @SeanDivine
      @SeanDivine  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      once the track is record enabled with software monitoring on, you'll hear the input. You should turn off input monitoring on the track before duplicating :)

    Hey Sean great videos! Sometimes I track vocals with either JJP vocals or Gwells Voicecentric, or vocalsynth2 if I want to track with a strange effect. I know both of these could create latency but I haven't had any timing issues maybe my computer can just handle it? Are there any other downsides to this? I have also noticed that if I use Melodyne after tracking vocals the reverb I used is now embedded in the transferred audio in the Melodyne plugin which seemed strange to me.

  • @WE100INTHESOUTH

    How are the vocal effects not applied? Im not understanding that part.
    Great video!

    • @LosAdasTricks
      @LosAdasTricks 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      He means, they're not burned in. As in: you can always disable or tweak them to your liking, theyre not in the audio themselves, but applied afterwards. If you had used an analog compressor in your signal chain before the recording, the effects would've been burned into the recording and had destructively altered the recording with no chance of reversing it.

    Sean when your recording yourself in the studio do you have to turn the studio monitor volume down or reroute the output so that you won't get feed back in the mic by listening to yourself through the monitors. I do have headphone but my output are my monitors. I hope this makes sense.

      The plugins are non-destructive. Meaning, your recorded audio is being processed through the plugins for monitoring but not applied to the actual recording. If you want to apply it, there's a few different ways to do it... i.e. bounce in place, export audio, or recording through a bus.

    You like logic better than studio one?

      I haven't personally used Studio One but have heard good things. I own and have used a lot of different DAWs - I'm almost exclusively using Logic now with no regrets :)

    what is a 2 track? I'm going to google it, but if someone wants to answer for others who have the same question.

      It’s just referring to a single stereo audio track (beat mix without the trackouts)
