I'm doing a no spend month and just realized how much of my daily outings included spending. Meaning because I'm not spending, im not going anywhere. Im just at home not doing much. Nice video, though what is helping me out now is my investment I did 5 months ago. I'm living comfortable in my own house and taking care of my bills now. I'm glad I made the life changing move 😊

I agree with giving myself a comfortable number for spending. I would restrict myself so bad that I would end up spending anyway. So moving forward I budget $100+ for spending so even if I go under I still have extra money without going in the red.

I understand the birthday thing, my family most of us are born in June plus fathers day, every week we have a birthday to the point some of us are like the next day to each other, I tend to save the first a lot for birthdays on the first half of the year to make it easier when June rolls around

Yes I totally agree with you, it's wise to have multiple streams of income. It's one reason I opted for expert Tim Taylor who's constantly identify lucrative positions to multiply my annual earnings with profits from stocks trading and others with the consistency in my payouts, I'm confident in the future of my investment portfolio.

since this is a forecast on what you expect the entire month to be like, do you split the amount in half since you get paid biweekly? so if you expect to pay $1418.67 the entire month that means check #1 you would leave $709.33 in your account for bills? $322.50 for cash envelopes etc etc..
Not with the way I budget. I look at my payperiod and see what bills fall inbetween those days and pay them with that paycheck. The only time I split amounts in half are with my cash envelopes since those are essential. Other than that any remaining income I use it towards debt or savings. But if someone has heavier bills the next time they get paid but that might not be enough to cover everything fully than I would suggest using all spare income to alleviating bills then focusing whatever is left to any financial goals
U are so right i was thinking how to save for birthdays and u are right it varies for January my spending for birthdays is $100 for both people and my birthday this month too so its always a tight month as im recovering from xmas and my daughter birthday which was in December and next month i want to give my brother $200 for his birthday bc he does so much for me and my daughter then march my mom bday lol then i have april and may bdays and im free of bdays until October i think i think imma just save for my daughter bday 2021 in December and her Christmas things like birthdays can be hard to save for birthdays back to back when its instantly gone 😩😅

I am really wanting to move out and I need to start with my budget to see if I can find an apartment I can afford as a single person who doesn’t even make: $1,250/month who lives in a state with one of the highest rental rates and has no friends to room with. Fingers crossed I’ll be fortunate and be able to work it in my budget

You only have to watch like 30 sec. so if the ad is 45 min. and you watch 30 sec. she'll still be getting paid.

Try to set savings goals by percentage instead. If your income is low, start with 5-10% of your paycheck to be saved

I am really wanting to move out and I need to start with my budget to see if I can find an apartment I can afford as a single person who doesn’t even make: $1,250/month who lives in a state with one of the highest rental rates and has no friends to room with. Fingers crossed I’ll be fortunate and be able to work it in my budget
Good luck! I know moving out is such a huge step and can be scary. I know it was one of the reasons I started to budget so I wouldn’t have to move back with my parents because my finances were such a mess

Since they would be coming out of your account on different days do you go back to see they actually take out then add it at the end of the month of what was actually taken out altogether?
