Confusion mode looks like very short time in reaction between "every team gate 1 and 2" and after that it is only speed run to team "gate 3". It makes death race problem with adventage of speed team even more bigger. If shooty team cant shot down enemy between first two gates it can do nothing later. Like in your report. And taking guns with long range in this mode is useless I think.
I agree with you. I do not think I will be running confusion mode again. It really negates a lot of strategies. The magazine had a couple more neat options for rules changes to death race though such as all weapons unlock after the FIRST vehicle crosses gate one. That sounds really interesting!

I agree. If I do this again I would make the teams do a full circuit to allow the teams to get another chance at stopping the lead vehicle.
