In this video....OG55 + Mr. Webba discuss how Disney can encourage more tourism at the Disneyland Resort, Tomorrowland delayed again , DCA expansion/changes and much much more !!!
Here the real issue about tourism 1. needs more resort hotels like wdw price models which I mean their value , moderate and deluxe dvc disney needs at least 1 or 2 value resorts and a true deluxe resort 2. Need a new gate for more attractions, = longer stays more ticket sales
Excellent video OG55 and Mr. Webba, love all the theories about Avatar land!! Here's a possible transition from Buena Vista St. to Avatar land where Hollywood Land is: There would be a rock work/artificial vegetation "hill" where the gateway into Hollywood Land is, looking like Griffith Park. Up on the hill would be a scaled-down Griffith Observatory (which was built in 1935 and would look great within view of the Carthay Circle Theater, where Snow White debuted in 1937). It would be like the upcoming maleficent castle in Villains Land or Beauty and Beast at Magic Kingdom in terms of forced perspective scaled-down structure up high. You would enter into an art deco "museum" entrance portal at street level with a 1930s sign above it advertising DISCOVER THE PLANET PANDORA! and then walk through a grand transition room that would feel like a 1930s Griffith Observatory visitor center with planetary models and celestial dome above and there would be a museum narrator voice and exhibits talking about the discovery of the planet Pandora in the Alpha Centauri A system...you would walk through a museum exhibit portal titled LIFE IN PANDORA and then emerge out into the sunshine in Pandora.
You mentioned Disneyland having discounts for California residents, the discounts aren't for all California residents, just those that live in certain zip codes in SoCal. Disneyland should also offer discounts for all California residents.
I think that the biggest things holding it all back is A) Two parks. At this point, just absorb DCA into Disneyland as a whole so that people can better customize their experience with one ticket. B) the lack of public transportation. If CAHSR becomes real and connects the whole West coast along with Las Vegas and Phoenix, it could become much bigger.
@@JP-1990 they wouldn't merge them, then they can't sell park hoppers. It's the same reason Universal and islands of adventure don't merge and you need a park Hopper to ride Hogwarts express
@@PatThePerson I feel like Universal Studios and IOA are distinct enough that they can work as different locations. Due to its "de-theming", DCA no longer feels like a distinct park with its own unique identity, but rather an expansion of the original park.
The time they start giving discounts to tourists and not the locals it will become Walt Disney world non local park and locals will be mad that tourist get better prices when they are 90% of the time have more money to spend than the locals doing a staycation idk bro this California you know how we are it’s California over anybody anywhere anything else we have the 5 largest gdp in the world as a state Disney is the best and biggest local park ima happy with that and we have done super well being that I’m a progressive guy I like change but name and becoming more touristy is a no go for me basically gentrified Disney
More Webba videos!

I honestly Feel (and I could be wrong on this) did the future of the Disneyland resort is looking more promising than most of the other resorts.
If I were Gavin I would have pounced on the way Ron treated Disney with the reedy creek thing
