Morning Ivan, I love container gardening because if need be I can move them around and if there are any late in the season I can simply put them in the poly tunnel. As I showed on my video I have savoy in pots from last fall still going 👍👍. Thank you for sharing 🐝 safe happy Easter 🐣
Thank you.. much appreciated
Container garden is looking great now, such a inspiration for anyone with a small space it's amazing what type of vegetables can grow very happy in a container ☺
It is and there is more to come
Thank you
Hi Ivan would it be possible to have a start and finish playlist? so combine this video with when you harvest the container cauliflower?
Will look into it Thank you
Lovely little channel this, really enjoy it and the cooking one too. It's a bit like "what to do today" channel. Nice work Ivan.
Thank you very much!

As a recently subscriber I am loving your channel Ivan .....your no nonsense approach to planting and excellent presentations make really enjoyable viewing ....You have inspired me to hopefully try a few of your methods soon❤ hugs🤗🙂
Really nice of you to say
Welcome aboard and good luck this season :)
Great info Ivan, I planted out my cauliflowers (Skipper) out today in 20 litre containers. Grew in 30 litre last year but as you rightly say their very shallow rooted so hopefully a 20 litre should do the job. Do you think I could go even smaller? Thanks for posting.
Thank you Michael im sure the 20 litre will fine
What a great video just starting an allotment and feeling a bit lost as to what to grow, when and how. Thank you for all the information.
very welcome & Thank you
Great tips :) thank you!
Thank you Nat
Nice!!
Thank you
Hi Ivan, will it be to late, to start cauliflower, seeds I got some all year round seeds. Thanks for sharing.
Not at all get them in...Thank you
I want to grow more cold weather crops this year!! Lol
Thank you
I’m new to veg growing so this is great. Why is it ok to plant peas with the cauliflower rather than an extra cauliflower? Is t because the peas are ready much quicker and do t take much nutrients? Thanks 🙏🏻
Yes harvesting one while waiting on another
Thank you Clare
Hello, please can you tell me if I could plant my runner beans in the same way with cauliflowers (instead of peas)? Thank you
Yes that would be fine
Thank you Emily
@@ivans-gardening-allotment-uk Thank you so much Ivan! Into my little garden I go ... 🌱🌱🌱
when did you start the seed s and when did you move into the greenhouse? i'm guessing you are up north?
I start most seeds from February onwards and leave in the greenhouse until its Spring
Hi Ivan, I have cauliflower and peas in my greenhouse, can I leave them inside or do I need to move them outside? Just started growing this year it's all new to me 😊
Hi Gemma they are cooler weather plant so best outside
Thank you
@@ivans-gardening-allotment-uk thank you very much for the advice, I did think my peas were starting to do not so well in the greenhouse, I'll get everything moved asap
I almost killed my oriental salad seedlings. I was very conscious of frost and offered protection. But when the sun came out I didn’t even think i need to protect them too! Came home after a long walk and they turned white and some leaves curled up. Hope some of them will survive. Just wonder if anyone else had this issue?
Leaf curl can be caused by over heating try giving them some shade for a while if possible
