@@mikethespike6304 what kind do you have? One thing to look at is making sure the regulator is grounded. One other thing is that it’s not too close the a heat source, like an exhaust manifold. They can usually handle heat but it’s a good thing to check.
@@Nelsons-Garage Its a stock alternator a few yrs old and had it checked its good I did replaced the voltage regulator I seem to go threw those on the fire wall . checking plugs and wires now . I need to find Where should a fusible ?
Cool ! Not many left . Is that original tail gate I didn't the embossed Dodge on it .?
I believe the tailgate was changed and had many repairs…

@@mikethespike6304 What amp alternator are you running? make sure the regulator can handle the alternator.
