- Flintlock longrifle shooting at South Woodstock, VT on July 24, 2010. Charge is 110 grains of FFg black powder, .495" round ball with saliva-moistened mattress ticking patch, FFFFg priming powder. This is a pretty heavy charge for this caliber, but that's what it shoots best with. Rifling twist is 1 turn in 72", bore length is 42".
