Hello. I don't know if you still check on these videos but I'm finding them quite useful. Would it be possible to have the link to the exercises and example problems you mention at the end of it?
HI Gareth, your videos are quite good, could you please take some time and combine them into a playlist. More specifically the videos on statistical Mechanics(on ising model).
Hello. Thanks for your message. I am glad that you find the videos useful. I have them all organised and in an order on this website: gtribello.github.io/mathNET/ You can find resources on the Ising model here: gtribello.github.io/mathNET/AMA40042-overview.html Click the understand button and it takes you to the videos. You have example problems using this maths there too. I hope this helps.
Hello. The energy when the temperature is low is negative. Recall that the Hamiltonian is - \sum_i Hs_i. If s_i=1 for all i then the energy is negative.
one of the best channels
to this day, these videos are saving lives!
Hi! Thank you for these videos - they're gold!
Thanks for your comment. It always makes me smile when people tell me they are finding these videos useful.
Very well explained. Thank you!

Hi Gareth, just wondering, at 16:55, why is the E = 0, when the graph shows is very high?
