If you bring a necramech in a railjack sentient mission tileset and go to the travel tube thing, their animations will look like they’re running as fast af
another fun little thing I discovered is, if your playing as wukong and you do a mission that limits your weapons (for example shotgun only) your celestial twin will have all 3 weapons equipped.
Equinox's Duality augment abuses that feature too, for those missions where "mods" are disabled on frames it works the best for some reason even if it strips ur mods for the ingame match the duality mod procs in match that gives you a clone fully using your mods. You can test this easily on the Grendel acquisition missions where there is a no mod modifier,
3:54 This actually goes even further, even after your rescue target straight up dies and the Lotus starts playing her voice lines telling you that the mission is a failure, there's still a window where you can extract and complete the mission anyway
Addition to the 250 energy from the death-orbs in the void: In every room where a possible death-orb-spawn is, you get the 250 energy even if it didnt spawn. Meaning you get 250 energy out of nowhere but the blue effect of you colliding with the orb and gaining the energy still exists.
Great, Warframe too has spaghetti code... The energy of death orbs isn't attached to death orb objects, but rather their position on the tileset... WHICH SOUNDS INCREDIBLY UNOPTIMISED
even tho I know most of this stuff, I still stumble across something mindblowing sometimes, which is why I love these videos, can't wait for the next one
8:19 its worth noting that amesha’s 3rd ability gives status immunity, and therefore stagger immunity, meaning you can slide along a wall to very quickly gain energy
Fun fact: Petting your companion in the orbiter used to be done with the melee button, but was then changed when finishers were changed from the melee button to the activation button( I think they must share some code).
Im not sure if it counts as a weird and obscure thing but Nezha firewalk doesnt track how you move, it actually just tracks your leg movement as long your frame is grounded (bullet jump is still considered grounded) Used it to make pretty patterns with some emotes that make your frame do flips and spins (still grounded)
I am here to post a comment displaying my excitement due to my timing of entering this video being pre audience and that I am in fact the primary viewer of said video
A side note on gun blades. Although they technically make a sound they are still considered “silent” weapons to the enemies and won’t alert them if you aren’t seen taking a shot at their buddies
Stuff I'm sure about: - Ballistica Prime's ghost generation is also useful for duplicating Feral Kavats, to get more scans of them, to get more kavat DNA codes! - Banshee's silence (great subsume ability btw) also prevents enemy Necramechs from casting their abilities. Including Iron Skin. - The +hacking timer mod for parazons actually only adds +timer on corpus ciphers. It slows down the movement speed of your active hacking node on Grineer ciphers. Can actually be a hindrance for some, while it may help new players on grineer sorties. - The Amalgam Ripkas mods adding Gore Chance actually has a loot benefit, since more split bodies = more individual bonus loot attempts by a Nekros' Desecrate. - You can prevent spending Madurai Void Strike stacks getting consumed on limb shots by not using weapons, but instead using Voidrig's ult. Pretty good cheese mechanic anyway, who needs aiming. Also useful for saving VS stacks when attacking lures, to hack them. - Titania's hold-to-self-cast spellbind is really great for making her max speed flight go from an absolute spin-fest, to something quite useable. Especially with aug for her ult. (but personally, primed sure footed does the trick too) - Speaking of stacking slows, and this isn't an unknown thing, Frost's Ice Wave Impedance augment is another great slow, with great range, that has always stacked with Nova's MP, and should with Sevagoth's Gloom, and Zenurik. + Also, the Amesha archwing has a slow. which you can turn on and off at will, making it really useful for timing perfectly to shoot Hemocyte heads when they are open. (Plague Star) - Frost's globe's True-damage can completely nuke enemies of any level, if you jump and cast globe (with max range), smashing them into the floor below their feet. Very weird playstyle. Stuff I'm not 100% about: - The Toxin damage taking all toxin mod values, even if the mods were combining into compound elements........sounds familiar. IIRC, it also applies to weapons with innate toxin, i think like the Lesion. - I thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiink there was another way to control enemies that are capturing your Interception point, and maybe even to turn them over to doing capture for you, using nyx's mind control, and Xaku's 3rd ability.
I didnt know about the hack time mods effects, also thats some nice VS trick I will tell next time anyone is LF tridolons. I think the mind control changing allegiance is a bit obvious.
6:19 There's also a console for this in the Railjack drydock all the way on the far left side 6:57 The stun you get for bonking walls while in Archwing is also removed by status immunity abilities, which is great for Titania 7:53 Before it was nerfed, this part of Snow Globe used to do 100% true damage so you could use it as an infinitely scaling nuke
For those wondering, status immunity gives knockdown immunity because it's considered a status effect by the game, same as lift, stagger, etc. Condition Overload also grants a damage increase on lifted or knocked down enemies for the same reason.

Yes, you are right, knockdowns are counted as a status, so any status immunity translates to knockdown immunity. And you won't get self-knockdowned from explosive weapons. Amesha's 3 prevents getting staggered in archwing when you crash into stuff due to its status immunity; exactly the same way titania's 1 protects her during her 4. This also means that condition overload and similar mods will get damage boosted on knockdowned or lifted enemies because an additional status is being afflicted. Side note, knockBACKS and knock knockUPS (as opposed to knockDOWNS) dont count as statuses and thus are not negated so you can still get tossed around. And primed sure footed will not protect against these either because it only works on downs. Some frame abilities have added protecetion against knockBACKS and knockUPS, some don't. Some abilities will also only protect from EITHER knockBACK or knockUP but not both. Necramechs are also immune to any and all tossing and pushing abilities more than simply knockDOWNS. Which is why they don't get pushed by profit-taker or fire eximus waves. Enemy abilities that can inflict knockBACKS are fire exilus firewave blast, profit-taker giant blue shield push, and shield lancer's shield bash. And powerfist units' electric ground slam is a knockUP. There are more but if anyone wanted to do some testing in the simulacrum, those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head. But I also know there are quite a few that spawn in profit-taker that can knock you up which are super annoying because sometimes they can knock you up high enough to trigger a hard landing and hard CC you despite having knockdown immunity via status immunity or primed sure footed even if you not moving and standing still.
@4:05 lol I had no idea this was a thing until a few months ago, the public sabotage mission i was in spawned a phase I'd never seen, even after around 1500 hrs of game time, because I always do them the same way. At the time I thought it was something new, part of a hotfix or something.
I like the Nidus callback thing with the Helminth room, it used to be that only warframes with a cyst on them or Nidus could actually enter the room, meaning if you removed cyst from all your warframes, the only one who could enter was Nidus.
4:35 it's not only the weapons that get affected when using Amalgam Ripkas True Steel, it's also abilities - this can be useful for speeding up Endo farms, where some people apply bleed DoT and one person uses Expedte Suffering with the mod equipped to turn those into a guaranteed bisection (bleed itself cannot bisect or mutilate the body, only direct hits with weapons that have 50%+ slash weighting - unless you're running ripkas yourself).
I used to use the K-Drive trick at 7:32 all the time, then I started falling through the map while saying "Oh God". It sucked because I run Trin mainly for Tridolons, and I sometimes wasn't able to /unstuck because it wouldn't freakin' work. To this day when I say "Oh God" my Volt hunting buddy has PTSD flashbacks.
When u unveil a riven, it says "+20000 xp" even tho xp in wf is affinity. If u have a maxed kuva weapon but not to 40, it'll still say "40" in ur loadout screen
Something that i had found, and I imagine it is very rare, is that there is a chance of getting a crate that can give you something special. I only found this in a greener sabotage mission.
@@abdoolzaidtoorabally4284 that I did not know! frik that explains why i always had an easier time tracking conservation targets with my wukong. I thought it was the cloud walker.
Idk if this popular/obscure but here something i found: -If you ran out daily syndicate standing (the original 6), you can still doing their daily mission and get standing. -The Acrid Reload Animation is hilarious, you remove the green button from main chamber, rotate it and put it back again lol. -You can spawn Unairu Wisp by blasting Maprico/Iradite in PoE. -You can hack console while in Limbo Rift by using Operator, useful in Sortie Ambulance.
When holding volt’s shield, if you walk into enemies this will knock them down, and you can use down finishers on them. If the enemy stands back up and is in between you and your held shield, you can walk backwards and knock them back towards you. Shield also negates the knockdown effect of any weapon blast (such as the zarr), so long as the shield is in between you and the projectile when it detonates.
6:30 Actually, Wukong's Twin will also get a duplicate Primary if you only leave out your Melee weapon. I'm running Primary+Secondary Wukong all the time this way.
Deimos is the only open world without a proper border. Bursas can be hacked to fight by your side. Everytime the night begins in the Plains, the Grineer ring sirens and give something (I dont speak grineer) through the speakers. There was one time when I opened/logged into Warframe and instead of accessing the game I saw a scenario where Grineer Lancers fought against Moas and Crewmen in a sort of test room. Enemy AI will run to the extraction when alarmed in an exterminate mission. Deimos is the only open world with animals which you can't hunt down via interacting with their shit cuz they are bound to environment. Also every species can be found while running around by their "screams". Before the rework of the helminth, you could go in the room as Nidus and get different voice lines depending on your karma. The Mutalist Quanta shoots bubbles that amp the......idk.. crit chance or crit damage of projectiles passing through. Sometimes you go to the dojo and you spawn in a wall. There once was a Sawgaw tracking spot which you could not reach due to it being out of bounds. It got patched. (I have a video on this and no, I did not know how to clip out of bounds.)
Ah, you saw the performance test mode, you replace your email with a phrase like performancetest or something, can’t remember, and you run it for a while for it to test your computer’s characteristics and diagnose memory leaks. Also, you are referring to Nexifera being totally immobile, right?
I think the old corpus lockers are still present in the game in a specific room. Don't know the specific name for it, but it's the room in infested corpus tileset where moas will spawn under the name "Corpus Walker". You just gotta bullet jump into a hole in the ceiling and that room still has old corpus lockers. I don't think they appear anywhere else anymore.
While the k-drive makes you immune to magnetic procs during Eidolon hunts, it also increases your chances of falling through the map, which can be rather annoying. No idea if they fixed it, but at one point it would happen during almost every fight for me. /unstuck doesn't work in this situation, but you can archwing your way back up.
The 'primary equipped while downed' and 'primary equipped while holding something else' are both disabled if you equip your melee at any point and attempt to switch back to your primary. The way this works, I believe, is that the game attempts to force switch you to secondary, but if that's not an option, it doesn't change anything; however, in both cases, it WILL prevent you from switching to your primary regardless of whether you had it out anytime prior. Also, the Hema reload while holstered damage is the full 3% per bullet, as opposed to 3% for a full reload. Try using Navigator on either projectile speargun's normal shots; their alt-fires make sense. The fired projectiles do not.
5:57 Zephyr's vortex and her tornados also pervent them from taking the towers with some duration those tornados could last upwards of a minute Enemies also tend to prioritize the tower you captured first unless they spawned right next to a different tower On some maps you can actually pervent enemies from capturing any tower by putting your tornados on a single tower You have to deal with the occasional stragglers every now and then on other maps That's why i use her for interception
you can get like 1 million+ iron armour on rhino if you cast it just as you press the lasers in the void and stand in front of them as they turn. this is due to the ability absorbing 100% of damage inflicted upon the first 5 seconds of it being cast. makes interceptions so much easier at point D and makes defense missions a cake walk. running around taking bombards and heavy gunners to the face is amusing.
I tried to mix in some things that, while obvious to most people, some newer players may still find useful. I've also seen a surprising amount of posts on the WF subreddit with people being surprised about this so I thought I may as well include it.
Heavy attacking, like heavy slam, or a heavy slide attack shortly after firing Contagion will force the Exodia Contagion's projectile to do heavy damage and x2 crit chance multiplier (Sacrificial Steel and CC rivens)
A couple of these lines I did while sick, hopefully that doesn't come through too much lol.

In the Exploiter Orb bossfight you dont need to shoot the thermia canisters. They still do their effect if they hit her.
Yes, but the effect is reduced
This videos are awesome, I'm really glad TH-cam recommended me your channel
@4:05 lol I had no idea this was a thing until a few months ago, the public sabotage mission i was in spawned a phase I'd never seen, even after around 1500 hrs of game time, because I always do them the same way. At the time I thought it was something new, part of a hotfix or something.
I like the Nidus callback thing with the Helminth room, it used to be that only warframes with a cyst on them or Nidus could actually enter the room, meaning if you removed cyst from all your warframes, the only one who could enter was Nidus.
For anyone who has yet to purchase the Helminth Segment, that's still true.
at 6:15, you can also do this from the left side of the Drydock in clans or relays
I dont known if it has been mentioned but if you pilot or use a cannon in a railjack as an operator you can actually proc amp arcanes
I’m glad to see the gloom info being shared. I have no way of knowing if you got it from me, but it’s still exciting.
4:35 it's not only the weapons that get affected when using Amalgam Ripkas True Steel, it's also abilities - this can be useful for speeding up Endo farms, where some people apply bleed DoT and one person uses Expedte Suffering with the mod equipped to turn those into a guaranteed bisection (bleed itself cannot bisect or mutilate the body, only direct hits with weapons that have 50%+ slash weighting - unless you're running ripkas yourself).
at 3:37, the two Index maps are called Outpost (snow map) and Gas Works (that Jupiter map).
I remember the good old days when Redeemer (then the only gunblade) was completely silent, period. Funniest stealth runs ever.
7:34 Wait........wait.....................WAIT.....................WHAT?
HOLY........LEE...........SHEEEEET, man im subscribing, i need more.
The opticor is a projectile weapon and is compatible with navigator.
Edit: it's really really fast, so good luck.
that K-drive trick though
K-Drive is less useless now, woohooo
“Babe, wake up. CoolKid369 posted another video.”
-Me at my anime girl body pillow
Nezha's fire Walker prevents you from getting knocked down by the bramma but only If you are firing at your feet
Nezha's fire also gives you knockdown immunity, as long as you're standing on it
A lot of this one was really helpful tips for new players rather than weird and obscure.
If you use Xaku deny on Liches/Sisters they cannot move making damaging them easier. Liches, however, can still grapple you.
I don't know if everyone knows, but the mining laser has zoom
Does it count as obscure stuff?
and it gets its colour from your warframes energy colour same applies to conservation target tracks
@@abdoolzaidtoorabally4284 that I did not know!
frik that explains why i always had an easier time tracking conservation targets with my wukong. I thought it was the cloud walker.
I feel very smart because I knew quite a few of these
Good to finally know what those glowy spots in relays are for
Idk if this popular/obscure but here something i found:
-If you ran out daily syndicate standing (the original 6), you can still doing their daily mission and get standing.
Also saryns toxic lash status stacks count as their own thing. So applying pure electricity won't create viral for example
this is exaclty what ive been waiting for
Ur cool!! U mention so many details and hidden things i like that
6:00 also works with Nezha's 4
6:30 Actually, Wukong's Twin will also get a duplicate Primary if you only leave out your Melee weapon. I'm running Primary+Secondary Wukong all the time this way.
5:37 It also works for any dance emotes you can get from the Market!
@@cecilrhodes2153 Yes, the Nexis.
3:20 holy f... i have been playing for 2 years or something and this blew my mind
3:37 YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Weird that it works like this, but it's very useful so I'm not complaining :p
Another fun fact is if you put the old reactor cell into the coolant slot, you can still put a coolant cell in the reactor
6:03 this also happens if they are caught within Khora's ensnare and strangledome
Right click hacking... I am truly blessed to know this is a thing. I love the hacking minigame and this makes it so much better.
If you look up, then quickly look down and do a slam attack fast enough, you will actually launch yourself into the air.
A Slam Jump you could say
I have been playing since the Echoes Of The Sentient update and I did not know some of these!
5:57 Zephyr's vortex and her tornados also pervent them from taking the towers
with some duration those tornados could last upwards of a minute
Enemies also tend to prioritize the tower you captured first unless they spawned right next to a different tower
On some maps you can actually pervent enemies from capturing any tower by putting your tornados on a single tower
You have to deal with the occasional stragglers every now and then on other maps
That's why i use her for interception
you can get like 1 million+ iron armour on rhino if you cast it just as you press the lasers in the void and stand in front of them as they turn. this is due to the ability absorbing 100% of damage inflicted upon the first 5 seconds of it being cast. makes interceptions so much easier at point D and makes defense missions a cake walk. running around taking bombards and heavy gunners to the face is amusing.
5:57 enemies caught in Nezha's divine spears also can't contest interception points
Love this series, keep It up man
3:36 Huh! Well I'll be damned! This one is very useful.
"You can also right click to go counter clockwise"
Weird and Obscure is a stretch...
I tried to mix in some things that, while obvious to most people, some newer players may still find useful. I've also seen a surprising amount of posts on the WF subreddit with people being surprised about this so I thought I may as well include it.
I've put 800+ hours into this game and still went "WHAT"
5yrs of not knowing half of this stuff you have discovered
5:59 khora's strangledome also does this
You can put the fuel cell in the coolant? Huh, haven't seen that one.
Heavy attacking, like heavy slam, or a heavy slide attack shortly after firing Contagion will force the Exodia Contagion's projectile to do heavy damage and x2 crit chance multiplier (Sacrificial Steel and CC rivens)
