    I rode one of these for my CBT - it rained all day, on the yard and then for 2 full hours on the road. Hadnt rode a bike in 40 years and then only off-road as a kid. This little bike gave me a lot of confidence as an older, shorter, newbie rider and was so much fun. So much so, I think I’m going to buy one til I pass my test and get a lot more riding experience rather than jumping straight into bigger bikes.

      @thatbikersimon  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      that's excellent to hear! you found a bike that suits you so well, especially after such a long break from riding. It sounds like you handled the rain and the whole CBT process like a champ. Buying a smaller bike to start with is a smart move. It'll give you the chance to really get comfortable and build your skills at your own pace. And hey, the most important thing is that you're having fun with it. Can't wait to hear more about your riding adventures and see you ace that test! Keep me posted on your progress, alright?

    Great review. Had mine for a year now from new, and think its a fantastic bike for the money. Do an 80 mile round trip/commute once or twice a week and have had zero problems with it.
    Tempted to keep it after I pass my full test as well, just for nipping around town etc.

    Had a look over one a few months back they appear to be very well made and solid build quality, I’d recommend for anyone on a tight budget for sure,

      This is a great starter bike, or like you said if you’ve got a tight budget. The build quality is good and great to build up some confidence on the road. The price we paid was amazing.

    Brilliant review on the bike mate
    I’m soon to buy one but a tad bit concerned as I’m 6’2😂sat on one and my knees fit snug under the tank. Have a 125 moped so trying to build up experience to get my A2 license

    • @thatbikersimon
      @thatbikersimon  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thanks matey, I always look at it like this. Even if the bikes not right for you, it’s a stepping stone for the next one. The Benelli is a good bike to get that experience on, without costing a fortune. Ride safe buddy 👍🏍️💨💨💨

    Ive got one of these bikes and absolutely 💯 love it. Fuel economy is fantastic! I've had her for about four months and only filled up five or six times. I thought the fuel gauge was faulty 😂.

    • @thatbikersimon
      @thatbikersimon  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Totally agree, it’s not the fastest bike in this category but the fuel efficiency is amazing, Would be a good commuter bike for someone who wants to save a few quid

    I wonder if the suzuki gsx-s 125 is worth the extra money as i suppose once you get use to it , it wouldn't be long before you would want a bigger bike when you have passed your test. Great video and yes it sounds like a real bargain

    • @thatbikersimon
      @thatbikersimon  หลายเดือนก่อน

      The gsx 125 is a faster bike there’s but that’s all realy so I’m not sure if it’s worth the extra money, like you said it’s probably only for a short time intill you pass your bike bike test

    Looks like a great bike. Probably the equivalent of the Honda 125 from years ago. It looks fab, great styling and the instrument cluster is super clear. Good to see a lower seat which will give confidence to new riders. 100mpg :-)
    A great review Simon.

    • @thatbikersimon
      @thatbikersimon  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Totally agree with you Steve, It's got that cool retro vibe of the Honda 125 but with a slick, updated look. The clear instrument cluster is a neat touch, and that lower seat is perfect for beginners, right? Plus, 100 mpg is insane - super economical. Really digging the style of this one! 🏍️✨

    Hi Simon, I think It Is a nice bike, but Voge 125 R Is Better try and compare, for only One hundred € plus It has full led light, liquid cooled, ABS and 11 kW Power and more.I think is the best cheapest bike.

      @@thatbikersimon You can often get a CB125F (similar power and dimensions to this bike) for only slightly more, though the RRP is just over £3K. It'd be worth seeing a comparison. Current model is 'made' (I presume that means assembled) in Italy.

    Just be aware that the resale value on these is horrendous in comparison to the honda, Yamaha and Kawasakis etc and lots of people trying to shift them on after obtaining their full A licence in the UK.

    • @thatbikersimon
      @thatbikersimon  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      This is one of the reasons I wouldn’t buy a new one, this bike was nearly half the price of the new one so the bulk of depreciation has already been done. 👍
