At the church I used to go to I was on the sound team. I have played this song during youth group worship more times than I care to admit.
Eventually someone brought GX to the game room they had for the youth group and the youth pastor noticed that I had been playing F-Zero music for worship music, lol.

Dukeofnachos Miyamoto said he's thinking of a new idea for F-Zero for the next console Nintendo releases. He was surprised at how popular GX was so he finally said he's thinking about it. GX was supposed to be the last one if you beat the story mode you would know.

This was in a Sonic fan game, so I originally thought this was a Sonic song. When I found out it was from an F-Zero game I wasn't too surprised, because Sega helped develop this game.

@@solemnwaltz You need to learn advance techniques and practice them. F Zero X and GX are probably the hardest games to casually play at their hardest. Far more difficult than anything casual souls or casual-ring has to offer. This isn't just cheesing mechanics, this is frame perfect inputs and consistent but well controlled movement and techniques.
@@CaptainBuggyTheClown there's also zero downtime where things are slower or easier in GX on very hard. Imagine the hardest cock and ball torture any souls game can have times 5 for the entirety of the playthrough. That's Fzero GX

F zero gx should be considered one of the best racing games ever, and by far the one that resists best over time. For graphics, music, gameplay, quantity of content, it continues to be absolutely satisfactory even today.

I’ve commented this on other songs, but I’ve been having bad anxiety and suicidal thoughts, which I’ve never had to experience this way before, and honestly hearing this again made me tear up. It’s super fucking cheesy saying that this song and Captain Falcon himself are some of the most comforting things the last few years/days, but it’s true. He went from a character I first saw in Brawl as a kid, to becoming an all-time favorite character that’s helped me feel comforted since I started playing F-Zero. I’m still holding out hope for a new F-Zero game, even if the chance is very slim.
Edit August 2024: Visiting again after a little over a year. I’ve been seeing a therapist and have been feeling a lot better this past year! I need to come back to this song more often but it’s still such a comforting song.
