This is the first video I completely agree with. I often receive compliments on my style. I also have people constantly assuming I have a wealthy partner paying for everything. In reality, I spend hours looking online for items similar to what I want, for a better price. I have learned what cuts and colors work best for me, so I keep my basic foundation and experiment with trends that can work well with it. I plan my weekly outfits and steam everything on Sunday night. I also innvision what hairstyle and jewelry will look best, and choose what day to wear each look based on my hair washing schedule. To me it’s not work, because I truly enjoy it. I do believe to be genuinely stylish you need to : know your body and what works for you. Stay true to what you feel your best in. Be confident in what you are wearing, and either put time in to yourself or hire someone to do it for you. I also don’t believe everyone needs to be stylish. If these things don’t naturally matter to you or make you happy, don’t force it. Style & beauty are two completely different things. All women are stunningly gorgeous just the way they are. Never allow anyone force you to believe that you are any more or any less than others based on what piece of material you put on. We all have different hobbies. Not everything is a competition. Our choice in clothing simply makes us all different, yet completely equal!
Every stylish woman I know likes to PLAY with her wardrobe. She takes fashion seriously but not herself. She‘a constantly editing and growing in her sense of self…but that ability to “play” is vital.
In this video you just shine....you teach us how to "live it", how to make dressing ourselves a living activity. In this video you so wonderfully convey the spirit of dressing ourselves. Thank you. Suzanne
Ahh, finally I‘ve found my corner of the internet when it comes to clothes. I’m 30 and many people my age are either just following trends or just don’t have style. Thank you, I’m subbing ❤
It was great video for me . Now after 40 ( 42 this year ) I know better what I want to wear . I like to be stylish and confident 👍 I feel summer when I’m looking at your fabulous dress ;) Today we have winter and snow in Poland .
The night before I try on different outfits that I want to wear for the next day. I pick two or three different outfits depends on my mood. I hang them on a rack, Then when I get up depending on my mood I have an outfit ready to go. I am retired but I still want to look put together ,stylish and elegant!
I agree, the clothes I buy they just sit on me however stylish people can put different pieces together, I want to be able to take what I have and put that together. I liked this video, I like the advice you gave especially about wearing a piece on a slow day to see how it fits, I started this two days ago, there are so many clothes that sit funny on me, and feel uncomfortable when wearing them for long periods of time so really appreciate the advice shared, it's that kind of nuance that is missing from style videos. Concepts. Great video and thank you for sharing!
I’m sure your clothes do not just sit on you. (We are our own worst critics) If you ever have an extra hour one day, try on your clothes, individually, not as outfits. (Preferably if you’re hair/makeup is how you usually wear it) Separate them in 3 piles, what you love on, what you felt ok in, and what you disliked. Look at the pile of what you loved. Write down the colors, material, and cut of them. Then look at the pile you disliked, and do the same. This will give you a basic idea of what works best and help with future purchases. Then get your “ok” pile and start mixing these items with your “loved” items. You will be surprised how much better they can look once combined with a different piece. Lastly, and in my opinion one of the most important steps, choice between 1-3 accessories to go with the outfit. This includes watches, belts, headbands, sunglasses, statement jewelry, hats, scarves, etc. (These items do not need to be expensive, just be sure they are well made and well kept.) I truly believe it’s the little extras that turn an outfit into a look. Please know, these are simply suggestions. Only do what you want and enjoy. Fashion is meant to be fun, not a burden. Most importantly always remember that style does not equal beauty. It’s simply a way of expressing yourself. You are beautiful regardless of what you choose to wear. Hope this helps!
This video was right on time when discussing planning your outfits. My lifestyle at this time of year is busier than normal. Enjoying my grandchildren after school events, hosting family occasions at home and visiting love ones. You’re looking fabulous.
Hi Joyce, I'm so glad to hear you found it useful! This time of the year can feel overwhelming sometimes as we put so much pressure on ourselves, right? Some planning ahead can put things in perspective x
Fabulous video. ❤ I have my wardrobe on Pinterest across 4 boards tilted: Level 0 -accessories, level 1-casual, Level 2- work/semi formal, Level 3- formal. This helps me to not purchase the same or similar items and plan what to wear. I also have boards with inspirations how I can mix and match pieces. It was worth the time setting up and is my daily go to! ❤❤
Hi Neenah, thanks for sharing your experience. Having boards is really valid as it provides a visual platform you can more easily refer to. Well done! :)
I just found your video today for the first time and enjoyed it very much, I wanted to tell you that my middle name is Silvana and I love that name. I wish that my mother would have given it to me as a first name!
Oh I'm sorry let me just take mine off 🔪🍏 I'll just walk around wearing sweatpants and a stained shirt because why even try right? 😆 I've seen women with beautiful cohesive art tattooed on their bodies that still take pride in their appearance/style and look gorgeous! Fellow tattooed ladies, don't let this comment make you feel like you can't be stylish and beautiful. Some of the most stunning celebrities have tattoos, Megan Fox, Angelina Jolie, Florence Welch, Selena Gomez, and more 💕
A stylish woman never gets stuck if something is in the wash! Planning ahead in general is a good idea but it does not make you stylish necessarily….so….not sure you have the idea of what a stylish woman is. I have a problem with people who give out rules for something that is god given and cannot be tied in a formula.

Exactly! They seem to have immunity to what others think of them, which is great!
I second this!
Love this

Hi Aleksandra, I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed it :) Isn't it wonderful that as we get older we get more confident in our style?
Your style uniform is wide leg pants and a pretty blouse. Mine is straight leg jeans or pants and a button up blouse.

Every stylish woman never wears a tattoo, that is extremely tasteless

I agree it’s tasteless !
Tattoos don’t look good on anyone.
Bunch of boomers in this chat 💀
@@florafae 😂😂😂
too much talking!! please release more photos
Instead of talking so much try to present the ideas would be less boring

so you're basically implying that you are one of them, right? you are appears to be a stylish woman? what makes you think that?
No stylish woman would EVER wear this dress…
Why the need to be insulting
Hello sylvana, i like planning my looks for all reasons you say ! Kisses @mimi.cado
